I don’t particularly like the idea but it could work.

Just please don’t let Christopher Nolan anywhere near it.

Didn't Nolan rule himself out years ago?

Hardy at 42 is maybe pushing it a bit. My preference would be Richard Madden.

The casting of a new bond is always going to split opinion. Very few likes the idea of Daniel Craig as bond.

Hardy will bring a different dimension to it. Would have liked to see idris Elba as bond mind you.

So would I, but he’s just too old now I feel. They take too damn long time to churn out the Bond films, 8 years since Skyfall!

You know that there has been another one five years ago right?

I think most people had seen Layer Cake thought he would be good

You think so? I enjoyed Layer Cake, but it didn’t necessarily make me think he’d make a great Bond. Not that I objected to the casting either.

Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager and Richard Madden in The Bodyguard felt more like Bond-audition type roles.

He's probably the safe option. Hopefully he does it in that weird Bane/Taboo voice he does.

Maybe Henry Caville could've been a good choice even if he's very bulky for a Bond.
I actually thought until a minute ago that Cavill was American. I just discovered he's British

I like the idea of Hardy as Bond. Mumbly Bond. Perfect.

I think it would be cool for them to go back to the gadgety, cheesy bond a little bit more. Everything is obsessed with being 'gritty' these days.

I wonder what accent he'll do? Hopefully the Bane one again.

Makes sense. TENET was hit hard.

Henry Cavill was nearly Bond at 23. Could be his time again.

It’s just a decking film, get over yourselves and release it on TV.
