Or maybe if they had said Freya well be euthanized if you all don't stay away. I think that would have discouraged people or even pushed people to try and relocate her somehow? Would it have been really that troublesome to get her to a safer place?

Agreed. Many people are upset now. The very same people would be even more upset if/when Freya kill a child.

As much as I love the darwinism aspect and that stupid people deserve whatever is coming their way, we as a society can’t have huge predators hanging out at one of the most popular beaches in the country. Costing millions in destruction of property along the way, in addition to the obvious threat to the safety of people. People are to stupid to handle a situation like that, and that won’t change anytime soon.
Freya didn’t belong in the Oslo fjord, and should have been removed as soon as possible after showing up.

That's nothing new, she's been crazy for years. She used to run a school (more like a course) to help you communicate with your personal angel. Literally. Then this whole shaman Durek thing, which got her into some hot water when they advertised using her royal title. This is probably more of her being forced (asked) to relinquish her royal duties if she wants to continue being a personal citizen who runs the kind of business ventures she prefers. If she keeps using the title in her business, she'll probably be binned altogether.

The scary thing is that she's actually the oldest child of the King, so with current rules she would have been next in line. We've been quite lucky with our royal family in Norway, but that just goes to show you how fragile it is.

The royals are just a complete waste of everyone’s time and money. Abolish the circus already.

With her keeping the royal title this is more PR than anything, I feel.

Dunno if anyone was listening to the Second Captains podcast but there was a good bit of ancient Noggie history/footballing bantz crossover. Submitted by one of their listeners, who happens to be a guy I know from medical school (currently working as a GP in Norway)

So anyway. Apparently Norway got hit quite hard by the Black Death. Which resulted in lots of farms being untended due to dead farmers. This, in turn, created an opportunity for other farmer folk to take over the land and create fertile pastures from these barren, neglected land.

The name for these rejuvenating miracle workers? Odegaard’s….

"Ødegård" literally translates to "desolate (øde) farm (gård)".

And yes, I remember learning about that in school.

He’s a friend of mine and is absolutely brilliant. Adapted his material for the panto that is BGT, but the man’s making stand-up venues laugh with his buffoonery and is very much the real deal. Even if it’s not for everybody.



This is a better representation of his act.
 
Looks like we’re finally getting rid of the green fanatics in Oslo. 8 years in charge for the doomsday single-issue party. They’ve been so useless that the right wing nutters FrP somehow feels like a sane alternative. Good riddance.

I’m fairly left but H have proven here in the past that they’re far better at keeping FrP in check than Ap do with MdG.

MdG are a complete nightmare for anyone who doesn’t live in the city centre.
 
Green Party, Centre Party and Labour Party all crashing. A good day for sure.

Also hopefully we've just seen the start of an orange/azure wind that'll blow even stronger in the parliamentary election.
