Penalties are all about individual skill, simply put: The players shooting the penalties are not good enough at shooting penalties.

Not really, we have had good games at the start, the problem is that we wasted similar chances like in this game where we were wasting penalties and not finishing chances. Then during the injury period we hit the horrible crap form.

Our weak squad means that injuries to key players is devastating to our performances.

Yeah it's tells us if there is a goal, Krul is very good at penalty saving.

THat's the best first half of football we have had in a long time. By man oh man can someone take a penalty? It isn't that hard. Rashford's miss was karma as there is no way that should have been a penalty, and it was an ok penalty being along the ground, just not hard enough and not enough in the corner. But Martial's was brutal. You either have to hit it low or hit it high. Either way, when you do, it's got to be hard. Martial hit his about 2.5 feet off the ground which is the easiest height for a keeper to save. We have to do better than that. But other than those two negatives, we have been fantastic so far. I would however like to see us driving to the byline more often like Rashford did on the one play where he shot instead of passed. Take your man outside. If he tackles you it either goes out for a corner or a throw in. If you cut inside (like we do all the time) and your man tackles you the ball goes back up field and can cause a counter. So please, start taking the man outside. Especially someone like James who has the pace to beat just about anyone. Instead we are often settling for cycling the ball around the 18...
