yeah that's given, but with all the talk about evening the injuries in terms of random chance an outfield player always weights more than a keeper.I suppose the logic is, precisely, that a random turn will get injuries and if it so happens you picked a keeper in it you'd better have a backup.

For example you have 3 reserves alongside the second keeper and in the same round one has keeper injured (that he has a backup) and the other manager can't field a left back for example, which eventually ends the tie.
The reason is so that we can have a clean injury system which should hopefully impact teams equally on quality. Also you really need a second keeper if the first one is injured.
I suppose I could have had it where by it is one whole round that is injured but if it was a keeper we would injure one of the players in the following round to avoid this e.g. round 7 is injured but you have a keeper in round 7so have your 8th player injured instead. . I didn't think of it at the time and everyone has picked according to the rules so I don't want to change them now. Something to keep in mind for the future
Tough shit really. You should have a squad able to deal with injuries.
One reason I made sure my fullbacks couldn't get injured as it would be an absolute bitch to find three fullbacks that could be as good as that (one being able on both sides) or even four. Main reason I picked Luis Enrique on turn 4 as well, if I get all my first choice targets he may not even start.

yeah naturally. My picks are in accordance to the injuries as well and every single player in my team can play in two positions apart from Aldair.
My point is it will create some dead rubbers that it's a bit of a shame to decide the tie based on one having an outfield player injured and the other a keeper that the quality in backup won't be too big of a drop anyway.
Again, the depth of the pool in most positions is immense. If there is too big a drop in quality and a dead rubber as a result of a single injury it's on the manager really.

I rate him but his peak was all too fleeting imo. A really silky player who was a delight to watch, but perhaps one who didn't quite have the mettle to truly elevate himself onto the next level. Either way, he fits rather well into what I'm trying to go for, so can't really complain.
