Fergie said the Glazers were 'excellent'. Was he a yes man too?
Yep....according to your knuckledragging, anti glazer goon he is.

They've decided to turn on our greatest legend in their childish, idiotic, nonsensical petulant demands.

Ole wanted the utd job and got it. At the moment he is still in the honeymoon period (as finishing top 6 this season he will still be here next season imo) He is changing the squad players giving experience to quite a few instead of one or two as is the norm. He isn't going to rock the boat as apart from another couple of players in the summer, he is getting everything he wants. That doesn't make him a puppet.

The honeymoon period ended straight after PSG away. There's certainly no honeymoon period remaining, it seems half the Caf want him out!

Top 6 isn't a reflection of a honeymoon period, but a reflection that the club had horribly lost its way and he has a massive job to turn it around. It's not just results on the pitch, but structure, coaching, recruitment - the club needs systematic structural change across the board.

IMO he's doing a very good job. He's got the dead wood out, and is stabilising recruitment while bedding in some kids so we can have a proper structured approach to future transfer windows.

However, as you indicate, next season is when the pressure will truly be on to challenge the top 2. That is definitely feasible - Spurs are on a downslope, Arse and Chelsea are in a rut, and the Scouse appear to be nearing the end of the Salah-inspired era and will need a rebuild.

If Pep goes next year and we recruit well (Sancho plus others), next season could be very exciting building on the base that Ole is creating.

The honeymoon period imo is this season as I dont think the board will sack him as long as utd finish top 6. Next season top 4 will be the minimum. We have dropped a long way, but the truth is with these players fergie klopp or pep wouldn't get them to be close to winning the league. We are weak upfront and especially midfield.

Jose wasn’t a yes man and rightly exposed the Glazers at every opportunity. Of course, many on here couldn’t cope with that because it didn’t fit their narrative. Now, because Ole isn’t complaining, he’s a yes man. The minute he voices his concerns about the management of the club above him, he’s out. He has to work within the tight-fisted ownership that hung onto Lukaku until the death so they could say they didn’t have time to re-invest. He could’ve gone months beforehand.

It's funny, Ole has just told the press that he wants a strong coaching team, who aren't afraid to disagree with him, and he doesn't tolerate 'Yes men'

I very much doubt he is a "Glazer puppet" and I am sure he wants what is best for the club but I am sure he is very well aware that he has very little leverage by way of accomplishment to throw around.

I think he is doing the best thing he can do which is to remain positive and try coaching the team he has the best he can.

The best way to get things done in any business is to be well liked. Going around criticizing your company and management only lessens your impact. People don’t do things for people who dislike them. Staying well liked doesn’t mean Ole weak or a puppet, it means he’s mature and business savvy. No one gets everything, but I suspect he’s getting more of what he wants than anyone since SAF.

People call him puppet for not taking up arms and joining the frontline in their war on the glazers. It's unnecessary. Not every one wants to be a part of this movement. Stop trying to shove it down their throats

He's not a puppet.

In this analogy he'd be a bang average looking bloke who's landed an absolute stunner. She treats him like shit but he's too afraid to say anything cos he knows if she leaves him he'll be back on the scrapheap, middle aged, two kids from a previous marriage and a bit of a beer belly.

Mourinho didn't care about upsetting them because he always knew he'd end up getting another top job and that his successor would only go to emphasise that he did a decent job given the circumstances.

To continue your analogy, Mourinho is the once handsome looking man who upon getting divorced (after shagging around and being a general dick) realises he's old now and the best looking women don't even notice him anymore.

He can still end up bedding MILFS like Real Madrid.
