Opposition fans will be gutted if it does happen.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
If you love footbal, you wanted this project to succeed. Especially those of us who are old enough to have followed the cubs intimately since the 80s and 90sWhy hurt? He is/was sending us back to mediocrity.
It’s never a cause for celebration when any manager gets sacked, as it’s a sign that things have gone drastically wrong. And there is only uncertainty looking forward.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
Thats the problem, I might he is now going to go back into full defensive tactics to save his job. Its just not sustainable, we have been here too often with him. This is like the 4th time his job has been under question, he manages somehow to keep it and we end up there again.Unfortunately I still think we are stuck with him but can't help the false feelings of hope
Trouble is, he he manages to get a couple of draws/ wins, he will get even more time before falling back into the inevitable slump, repeating the pattern that keeps happening
It's not a celebration, but a relief, and then the obvious worry about what the board will do next.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
I mean he said himself or Bruce would have done a better job that time Ole was caretaker and a lot of other ridiculous shit.
I don’t think there will be much celebrating. I might have myself a beer and a little champagne out of pure relief though.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
Because he's a club legend. He was put in this position by morons who should have gone for tried and tested to start with. Why hurt? He is/was sending us back to mediocrity.
If urban legend is to be believed, he was one game from getting the push back in 1990. An FA Cup tie at Forest, IIRC. Mark Robins scored the winner, and you went on to win the cup, beating Palace after a replay.Who wanted SAF sacked? That's a very different circumstance - Fergie is our most successful manager ever, Ole has failed to win anything as of yet and the performances have been tragic.
Too much romanticism involved, it's a cut throat business. Of course everyone would have wanted us to win trophies under him, we'd have wanted the same under Jose, LvG and Moyes though, did it hurt when we sacked them? But if the manager isn't good enough, he's not good enough and needs to be given his p45 and shown the door.If you love footbal, you wanted this project to succeed. Especially those of us who are old enough to have followed the cubs intimately since the 80s and 90s
I mean the owners are trash but you're going to blame them for our fans being delusional? The fan base needs to take some responsibility for falling for it.Because he's a club legend. He was put in this position by morons who should have gone for tried and tested to start with.
These horrible parasites put this on the fanbase and played with our emotions for a club legend. Of course we'd get behind him as it was Ole.
Sounds to me like you're absolving Ole of all blame for the recent results and they lay at the feet of Woodward, the Glazers, Murtough etc?Because he's a club legend. He was put in this position by morons who should have gone for tried and tested to start with.

losing 5-0 at home to liverpool hurtsI won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
He's tried his best but ultimately not good enough. Is that on him or is that a bad recruitment decision?I mean the owners are trash but you're going to blame them for our fans being delusional? The fan base needs to take some responsibility for falling for it.
FC Hollywood era would suggest noDid we ever?
Nope. Not good enough ultimately. Who employed him? Do they not deserve any blame then for putting us in this position? Of course not. It's all on Ole isn't it with you lot.Sounds to me like you're absolving Ole of all blame for the recent results and they lay at the feet of Woodward, the Glazers, Murtough etc?
They expect him to forgo his severance fee. Which managers apparently do all the time. He's tried his best but ultimately not good enough. Is that on him or is that a bad recruitment decision?
The abuse has all been aimed at Ole and not the morons who employed him as usual. That's the only part of this I take issue with. Ole needs to go but Ole outers can't see where the bigger problem is. It's the owners.
I will be relieved. It will be extremely difficult for us to win the CL or PL (not just this season) with 3 other top clubs and managers in the PL, so at least we won’t have to read any longer how Ole is wasting such a talented squad.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
It's for the best. We can still love Ole, I don't think any of us will be celebrating that he is hurt, far from it.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
That would absolve anyone from any blame of anything whatsoever as long as they have a boss. He's tried his best but ultimately not good enough. Is that on him or is that a bad recruitment decision?

Why? He lost the Europa League final and didn’t resign. He got battered against Liverpool and insists he’s staying on. He’s been very well paid for a job that he’s massively out of his depth in.I won't lie. Manchester United fans celebrating and cheering that Ole gets fired is going to hurt.
They do but the majority of the blame is with Ole. He's spent been backed in every transfer window, been given money to add to the backroom staff and look how it's ended.Nope. Not good enough ultimately. Who employed him? Do they not deserve any blame then for putting us in this position? Of course not. It's all on Ole isn't it with you lot.
Our football already is tumescent nonsense and awful to watch. our most exciting games are when the opposition is cutting through us at will.I’m not going to get into an argument on whether he should or shouldn’t be sacked, but I really hope all those that are scrambling to get him the bullet remember this when it comes to the next choice of manager,
The short sightedness is the thing that bothers me the most. I’m not a staunch ‘Ole in’ person but for me, you only sack him if there’s a better alternative. This isn’t a job for Zidane, despite his record, he hasn’t had a rebuilding job like Utd. Conte is Jose mark 2, the football he plays is tumescent nonsense. I am truly dreading the thought of him getting the job, it’ll be awful to watch us with him in charge.
So who is going to take us to the level where we think we should be and a more important question, do we really trust the board to make the correct decision here?
I think even Fergie has had enough of Ole after yesterday if him leaving early is anything to go byI think he is absolutely on his last chance. No trophy and he will be gone at the end of the season. Fergie will make sure he is not sacked before then.
You know the world has gone to hell when a Liverpool man has more sense regarding the clubs future and state than an ex United man.Carragher talks a lot of sense and I completelyagree with everything he says in this article. Neville less so

Yeah. Even though the players are also massively at fault, he refuses to look at the gigantic elephant in the room (funny when Ole used that phrase with regards to the Rashford thing) which Carragher and Souness tried to point out to him as a child, that if he can't get them to perform, what does he want to do? Get 20 new players and ship the others all out?Tweet

He's bloody exhausating
It would have been great for the short term if it had succeeded; but for the long term it would have entrenched the clubs views that "The United Way" of giving managers time and full reign of the club is the way forward. This view has led to the mediocrity we see every week. The death of "The United Way" is something I am looking forward to. Managers should be given time based on merit, results and potential, nothing else.If you love footbal, you wanted this project to succeed. Especially those of us who are old enough to have followed the cubs intimately since the 80s and 90s
