Always struggle to catch up with this one. Had to download all the seasons again after my external crashed. Hopefully I can binge this whole week.
But some series you can't wait to get to the end, others you don't want it to end.

Season 6 came out on Netflix today, 13 episodes. Does anyone still watch this?

My wife does. She's been bugging me about her quiet night alone watching it while I'm at some get together from work.

As far as shows she watches go, I kind of enjoyed semi watching this.

Can't recall but didn't the main character, Piper, only have a 6 month sentence in the first season? How is she still in prison?

I think I watched season 5 but I can't remember.

I'm still in,it's one of the best shows on Netflix.

@Shane88 She not really the main character anymore, l'd say after season 2 it has become more of an ensemble show.

I've always found the Piper character annoying.

One of those shows I've watched entirely in passing when my wife had it on. Seemed quite good.

I only started watching it because people said it had some lesbian action in it, but it's a great show. Such an emotional rollercoaster.

I really liked most of the first 6 seasons. But I felt like it ended with season 6. Is season 7 worth watching?

Same kind of boat, although last few seasons have been a bit more of a struggle but I’m just not sure if I can bring myself to start season 7

Finished Season 7 yesterday and thought it was brilliant. Possibly even the best season yet. Tend to find that shows struggle to end on a high note, but OITNB managed to do it really well.

Quite surprised as, while I enjoyed the show, I tended to watch it because the missus liked it. Definitely grew on me though and Season 7 flowed really well, with some poignant moments, lots of laughs and as always plenty of fascinating characters.

The part where Karla calls her kids was just brutal. Had the wife in tears!

Yeah, it grew from lesbian soft porn to one of my favourite netflix shows.

Finished watching this last night, didn't like the ending. Too many unanswered questions, and i dont understand why they waited until the last 15mins of the last episode to show the other inmates that were in Litchfield.

My god this show was a chore.

Kind of enjoyed the earlier seasons but it got really bad. Was a real slog getting through the last season. I skipped a few episodes and still feel like I didn't miss anything.

Did the latina girl get killed by her mum in the last episode?

The show was good but was ruined by its own success. Should have ended when they left the original prison.

Bit of a bump but started watching this with the other half. I think she watched a few seasons and watched it again with me

On season 3 right now. I liked how s2 ended and Vees storyline coming to an end. Glad they didn't drag that

Crazy eyes actress is great

Just saw the episode focusing around Chang which had me laughing. It's a decent binge, I do like the flashback element around the certain characters. I think it was a good idea to not solely focus on one character who goes in

On season 5 with this
I've enjoyed it so far (and glad to know it's got a finish line and not cancelled so has an ending)

I liked Ruby Rose in this. Some of the characters are great esp in small doses (the two airhead Latinas, the two meth heads, etc)

Didn't expect some really dark things though as it's mostly been light

pousseys death being the big one that started all the shit and the riots
Or the guard who made the bus driver eat a small baby mouse
Or the guard making crazy eyes snap to punch the shit out of the other one

The episodes quality does depend on who the focus of the story is on
Season 1 was mainly Piper but I do like how they shifted focus after that and we saw more of the guards, other inmates and even the politics behind decisions made

I didn't expect the show to be as enjoyable as it was. Once the main focus was away from Piper and those around her it was better

The last season had some sad moments (p tuck) and some light moments (Suzanne/chicken farm)

I'd recommend this as it has a nice ending and is defo binge worthy
