Updated.

Arsenal - 3-2.
City - 6-3.
Newcastle - 2-0.

Spurs - 2-2.
Brighton - 1-0.
Brentford - 4-0.
Liverpool - 7-0.
Villa - 3-1.

Fulham - 1-2.
Chelsea - 1-1.
Palace - 1-1.

4 points from 33.
This after Thursday's match.
So after yesterday's defeat to West Ham, are we:
4 points from 36?

That's embarrassingly bad.
Is it psychological;?

Performance deserved at least a draw today, beaten by fine margins an improvement on the Tottenham game and against opposition whom are better than Tottenham

Another pathetic performance, another dreadful result away from home. Business as usual for ten Hag.

Are the performances any better at home? Apart from Chelsea game and second half vs 10 man Forest the home performances have been equally pathetic.

We're terrible away at top 12 sides and we've got an appalling away record in London.
So why anyone was surprised at today I do not know.

We're 14th in the expected points table overall - 13th at home and 15th away. So really, we're just getting lucky with results more than anything else.

Our results so far against the top half this season:

Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United
Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Manchester United

Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United
West Ham United 2-0 Manchester United
Newcastle United 1-0 Manchester United
Not only results, look at the goals...

We score 1 goal in every 5 matches away from home against the top half of the league.

All dreadful performances too. The Liverpool performance was akin to a league 2 side pulling up at Anfield.

Against the top 10 sides away, we should just play defensively with compactness and shape like against Liverpool.

Grinding out 0-0 draws or sneaking an occasional 1-0 win is better than these typical limp pathetic defeats.
