Which of you have been to OT?
FA Cup?Once
Ironically I saw Sunderland Play Millwall at OT (went to Villa Park to see United Play Arsenal).
How do you get tickets? Must be costly coming over from Isreal so many times?Been a few times over the last three seasons. Last match was the 3-0 win over Everton.
So you are a member of OneUnited?I got tickets through OneUnited, been lucky enough, I guess.
It is costly, obviously, in terms of flight and hotel, which is why I only do it once or twice a season. Unfortunately I haven't paid enough attention to the fixtures list or else I might have planned another trip around this time, but never mind.
Seems an unecessary expenditure when living abroad?Yeah, I'm a member.
Unless you are going to matches its pretty much worthless as all the tat you get at the megastore is overpriced anyway so your discount does you no favours.Seems an unecessary expenditure when living abroad?
Maybe not, I'm not really updated on what the membership includes. Will probably look it up soon, seems tasty.
What are the chances of receiving a ticket after application of one, if you are a OneUnited member?Unless you are going to matches its pretty much worthless as all the tat you get at the megastore is overpriced anyway so your discount does you no favours.
And the book and mousemat and all the other shite isnt worth a wank...
If you're going to chuck £25 anywhere, throw it into MUST and help the fans buy United off the cnut...
depends what game you are applying for. some i know have been to 8 or so home games this season, one or two of the biggiest included..others like A1 have been chubbed everytime...What are the chances of receiving a ticket after application of one, if you are a OneUnited member?
Depends on the game being honest..What are the chances of receiving a ticket after application of one, if you are a OneUnited member?
Actually it was today when I ordered my first-ever tickets to Old Trafford and the game should not be better: United - West Ham.. It cost me 710€ for the match and two days in a 4-star hotel(came with the ticket-package)but when we get the trophy it´s going to be worth it... We´ll see what happens

Stop it...fecking first game ever, 'yah paid 700 quid I do hope I see the boys lift the 'EPL'.'
how the feck ya only been once since ya moved to salford?I've been to OT 3 times, but only once since I moved to Salford three years ago (v. Portsmouth this season FA Cup)! I wish I could afford to go more often.
If you're living in Salford, how could you be an overseas fan?I've been to OT 3 times, but only once since I moved to Salford three years ago (v. Portsmouth this season FA Cup)! I wish I could afford to go more often.
Hes got to find his bearings you know....how the feck ya only been once since ya moved to salford?
Theres some who go to OT that think your a foreigner if you live in Wythenshawe, so being from Salford would make you erm.. an alien. If you're living in Salford, how could you be an overseas fan?
Well I can't say I did much research, but I didn't realise how I could get tickets until last year (when I was living in London, and started reading redcafe), and I'm a student, so haven't been able to afford it very often! Really enjoyed being back there though, was the first time I saw United score a few at OT - the previous two games I'd seen were a 1-0 against Norwich with Cantona scoring, and a 0-0 against Newcastle a couple of seasons later!how the feck ya only been once since ya moved to salford?
In other words your a workshy lazy bastard....Well I can't say I did much research, but I didn't realise how I could get tickets until last year (when I was living in London, and started reading redcafe), and I'm a student, so haven't been able to afford it very often! If only the season was a little longer I'd go now, but I'm right in my finals at the moment!
aint that fecking true i couldnt believe getting done out of 41 quid for lille..Hes got to find his bearings you know....
I mean come off it, OT isnt the easiest place to find... Its only the biggest fecking building in the whole of Greater Manchester......
Seriously though, perhaps the lad cant afford it. Its not like hed be the only one ( though why hes paying for internet access when he could be buying match tickets is beyone me )
fair cop good luck with the finals mateyWell I can't say I did much research, but I didn't realise how I could get tickets until last year (when I was living in London, and started reading redcafe), and I'm a student, so haven't been able to afford it very often! Yep. We planned on going over for the Charleton game but it was moved because of the FA Cup. We already booked our flight so we decided to make a play on the FA Cup instead. Got tickets through Sunderland for the OT game (great seats in the South Stands though it was very cramped). Had to pay more than we wanted for the honor of sitting in the Arsenal section in that FA Cup tie. It was all I could do to keep my seat when Scholes knocked it in.FA Cup?
is it not worth you joining the surrey reds or london reds?I know most of you on Fred's side are taking the piss, but I'd like to point out to old DockRockter, that, speaking as somebody who's very bitter about not being allocated any tickets this season... fair play to you.
I don't hold it against you in any way that you got those tickets it's your dream to see United play the same as it is mine, and I get to do it one wayor another several times a season for a lot less than you. Good on you for putting the effort in.
But at the same time, I'm sure you realise that you are in a very priviledged position, presumably very much so compared to 1000s of others in your own country (I'm guessing your travelling from a far way).
And I also won't hide the fact that I think there should be more tickets for regular fans, and less for the likes of you, which sounds rude (especially phrased like that!), but at the end of the day, suppply is limited, and there's a lot of us who live pretty localy, that the club ignores.
But anyway, don't take offence at anything I said, or anything Fred & co did - any anger is directed at the club not you!
Although I understand the thought that local everyweek matchgoers should get more tickets, especially at united where we actually fill the stadium every week - it's a bit silly to be mad at overseas posters on here because of it. These are tickets that travel agencies have acquired, and they're going to sell them, and if the overseas fan on here don't jump on these tickets, then they'll just go to some other overseas fan. And you lot should not forget that overseas fans have to shell out a fecking fortune for travel expenses in those trips.I know most of you on Fred's side are taking the piss, but I'd like to point out to old DockRockter, that, speaking as somebody who's very bitter about not being allocated any tickets this season... fair play to you.
