This may not be a popular opinion, but I think we are better off without Pogba.
Totally agree, lets face it, Pogba can do wonderful things with the football and he can win games for us, the problem is he's far too inconsistent,
He's paid a load of money and just isn't giving us back anywhere near what we are paying him, this could be down to our managers, he does seem to have a very stubborn personality so you can see him being one of those my way or now way types.
Could also be down to lack of focus due to his agent, yet you've think his agent would want his client to be playing at his best week in week out if he's wanting to make money on getting Paul a transfer.
Sir Alex made more good choices than bad, he would have known all about Pogba's talent but I assume there was something in his character, personality that he didn't like.
Serie A is not as strong as the Premier League, many players have came over here and not done as well as expected, I would also expect Juventus had a consistency of talented players all around him so they'd have fitted in him in a role that allowed him to be himself, where as our squad the last few years has been 6 or 7 very good players and then 4/5 good/average players, no serial winners round him,
Jose scrapped the "i make players feel special" routine before he arrived here so Pogba was playing for a manager who he knew could throw him under the bus and then Ollie - he's more of the nice guy, a yes guy, stubborn people usually get on better with people who are prepared to be as stubborn back, I wonder if Ole being such a nice chap makes it harder for Pogba and some of the others to get motivated,
Either way we were so bad on Sunday and I can't blame Ollie's motivational skills for that because a game against Liverpool should be firing our players up no problem even if we didn't have a manager, so for whatever reason sectors of that team were not playing for Ole.
