Have to agree, but Pogba can handle it though, he could easily become amazing in that midfield and still be flamboyant... Rio would have laughs with him and keep him in check from going too mad. Keane could go nuts at him time to time in the game. Pog definitely wouldn't get too big for his boots in that team..Playing with Keane and Bruno. Pogba is fecked
I'd definitely take Rio/Vidic into our current team, with the 3rd being Cristiano Ronaldo for the RW.

We can’t bring back from the past, but if we could, I would forgo all 3 players and just bring back a prime SAF to get our current squad firing the way it should be.
This was tough, in the end I tried to upgrade our weaknesses rather than take one or two players I wanted. For example, I badly want to fit in Schmeichel, but think that Henderson is a top quality fit for us for the next decade. And Rio Ferdinand, just one of my favourite defenders of all time, but we have a very good 80M Maguire already, and I feel the place is better used elsewhere. So my list:

But in the end I went with Yorke as a false 9 and Greenwood pushed up on the right. Yorke was fantastic that year (18 goals, 11 assists in 33 games and 0 pens) and he'd give us what Martial and Cavani combined basically. I like Cavani, but he isn't so far ahead of our option that he has to be picked, and we could also play Pogba on the left, Yorke up top and Rashford on the right.
I kinda hate this pick, we really need 4 players from the 99 team. Unlike 08...
-Stam cuz we need a CB and Keane cuz we need a DM. Biggest upgrades.

Cristiano's goal scoring means we can play Bruno in a free role and Pogba as a 10 going box to box, even if it might look a bit Veron-y, but then he can be dropped for Cavani, Martial or Greenwood, or in Europe just play James on the right and Cristiano up top.
Almost went with Rio and Vidic instead of just Scholes, and just playing Pogba or VDB as the 8 next to Fred or McTominay and using Cavani or Martial up top, but Scholes would be brilliant with McTominay or Fred as his partner and I feel strongly that Rio could turn Maguire into a very good CB.
