Call me a cynic but I doubt very much that the club would be concerned that people were paying too much for memorabilia.....I'd wager a large amount of money that their only concern would be that they were losing out on a cut..............Small Paul said:Nowadays with e-bay etc a lot of clubs discourage it as it can lead to memorabilia going onto the interent and being sold over the odds.
We used to do the same as kids at the Cliff and Littleton Road, we'd literally stand on the touch line like you were watching Sunday league park football.Small Paul said:When i was younger we used to go to the cliff on a friday and most players would sign autographs.

Personally, i'd be surprised if you could get the players autographs at OT.

I believe the players are aloud to sign autograph books but ain't aloud to sign replica shirts and other merchandise, the aim like you say to stop them been sold on e-bay.Small Paul said:When i was younger we used to go to the cliff on a friday and most players would sign autographs.

I know what you mean... I got Denis Law's in 1964. I have had it framed and it now sits on a shelf in my office next to my signed photo of Spike Milligan. Sad bastard, eh?izzydiggler said:It's amazing how much pleasure and pride can come from a squiggle on a bit of paper, which takes a player a matter of seconds to do.........I still treasure Roy Keane's signature even though it was over 10 years ago I got it!

Carrick's in particular looks like he did it with crayons when he was three.Yep definitely so, just confirmed with my shirt hanging on the wall.
Also what the hell is up with these bloody players and squiggly lines for autographs, the only one I have that is clear who he is, is Eusebio. Yeah just throwing it out there that I have his autograph.

When I renewed my ticket there was payment method of doing a balance transfer onto a man united credit card. Once you have got the card you had to spend or do a balance transfer of over £200 to get a signed shirt. How did you get that mate?
yeah, I was surprised why would anyone want Rooney's autograph nowAlmost answered the original post then, before I realised it was from 2007!
agreed. I read it as Chicharito 149 is clearly Hernandez.
