A fair rating for Gibson would be around 6. Used the ball very well first half, some excellent cross field balls, couple of bursts forward. Tired in 2nd half.

Top effort and good result. Fletch and Carrick deserve particular credit - the former for being so fecking determined, and the latter for marshalling the defence. Said before he'd make a class centre back if we ever needed him.

Carrick - 8 Same problems as Fletch playing them offside but was calm and composed at the heart of our defence and won a lot of headers
Evra - 9 Magnificent. Didn't put a foot wrong and did the work of two men

Park - 6 Started off very well but faded badly, as the heavy pitch and lack of match fitness took their toll
Scholes - 9 Pretty much ran central midfield on his own. Amazing.
