Not one of these charlatans deserve a new contract.
From one commercial club to another, great. I love Pogba, but he's not what's needed at PSG. Tchouameni or Fofana on the other hand...No way on earth he stays at United. Ralf isn’t keen and I’m pretty sure he’s going to get a good say in how it goes now.
Can’t wait to see him, his inflated ego and entourage gone from our club. Good luck PSG (where he will do well in that league).
Wijnaldum is a good example that it's more than being a good player, you need to find the right manager and teammates too, at PSG he's been completely a non entity. Man Utd will but its new players but ETH cannot create a good football structure then we'll be disappointed ultimatelyI can agree with that. Wijnaldum was elevated to a high football level and did it for Liverpool, United with their worldwide scouting range should be more than capable of finding someone.
Tbh It should be done when Scholes retired and we had a chance to fight for seriously great midfielders like Kroos or Gundogan. We're still waiting to this day for a killer midfield with a tooth.
Its not about the talent, but his attitude and i am 100% convinced that hes one of the biggest, if not the biggest contributor to the toxic attitude in the dressing room.I must be one of the few people in this forum who actually wants him to stay. We have much, much bigger needs and problems in the squad before we sort out the Pogba issue.
Yeah he hasn't always been great, but not a single player in this team has. If he goes we will be left with Fred, Scott and VDB as our only midfield options (I dont count Bruno) and that is just not good enough. As a priority we need a DM, a RB and a RW. If Pogba goes we will also need a CM.
Resign him, set an affordable sell on price 40m ish for next summer and sell him then when we can get a propper replacement in.
I bet you can't name as many five for each season he's been at OT. I said at the time he resigned that I didn't understand the hype and I haven't changed my mind. The number of times he was bullied by midfielders from mid-table teams seemed staggering to me...Its not about the talent, but his attitude and i am 100% convinced that hes one of the biggest, if not the biggest contributor to the toxic attitude in the dressing room.
Also, despite his talent his performances for us overall are usually complete shit with about 5 good ones each season. Just feck him off and lets be done with this stupid circus
Thats like comparing an apple to an orange.Just like they were smart with Hazard?
Sadly, bothIs he prone to injury or just prone to not being bothered?
Since even the board preferred for ETH over Poch and Rangnick was happy too, we have to assume we appointed someone close to the right guy type. Perhaps it wasn't the right choice and it won't me surprise a bit, especially in current club's enviroment.Wijnaldum is a good example that it's more than being a good player, you need to find the right manager and teammates too, at PSG he's been completely a non entity. You mean Fred because Matic is also leaving, Pereira's contract is also expiring though we apparently have an option.Since even the board preferred for ETH over Poch and Rangnick was happy too, we have to assume we appointed someone close to the right guy type. As for creating good football structure, some players must leave first. Think we can agree on that, but yes, won't be easy and Pogba leaving creates massive creative hole not only in midfield but also for attackers to receive quality pass to finish teams off.
It basically leaves us with Matić, McTom and Pereira and looks like we have to start from scratch, even if Paul somehow stays. Finally a clever scouting that cooperates with no matter who's the manager would definitely help.
Yup. Fred will help massively as he can play Pogba's role, but he's just a one guy who can actually do something vs pile of wankery we have in the squad. You mean Fred because Matic is also leaving, Pereira's contract is also expiring though we apparently have an option.
Yes we can defo on your 2nd paragraphSince even the board preferred for ETH over Poch and Rangnick was happy too, we have to assume we appointed someone close to the right guy type. Perhaps it wasn't the right choice and it won't me surprise a bit, especially in current club's enviroment.

We all remember the best moments. An offer not withdrawn is still an offer. There's a chance we might get stuck with Pogba for the next 4-5 seasons.
Don't get me wrong...on his day he's brilliant. But how many such days has he performed at his known peak for United in his six seasons? Half dozen at most.
I can't think of anything more nightmarish than seeing Pogba's name in next season's team sheet. Despite all his skill, he is a waste of space (and money). An offer not withdrawn is still an offer. There's a chance we might get stuck with Pogba for the next 4-5 seasons.

Not literally nothing though.Bye! Thanks for nothing... literally nothing
Hopefully you won’t get your wish. He so lacklustre in his performances that I can’t imagine a worse player for a pressing team, which we surely have to become and is ETH’s style. He’s a liability at CM unless he is surrounded by two world class pressers. I felt his best role would have been as a 10 for us. He’s just a mess playing in a double pivot. Anyway, the wages on offer, the injury record, his obvious lack of effort, can’t wait for him to leave. I don’t wish him ill after he departs, but I also don’t wish him well. I am purely apathetic to what he does. The further away he goes, the better. Not literally nothing though.
We won a league cup and Europa league with Pogba.
I still am hopeful he signs a new contract. Would be good to see him in an ETH set-up.
and we won our first PL title with Darren Ferguson! Not literally nothing though.

There are more reasons why we should let him go than stay.I must be one of the few people in this forum who actually wants him to stay. We have much, much bigger needs and problems in the squad before we sort out the Pogba issue.

Not a good comparison. Pogba was arguably our best player when we won the Europa League.and we won our first PL title with Darren Ferguson!
He was officially the best player. Not a good comparison. Pogba was arguably our best player when we won the Europa League.
100%, it still annoys me to think of when he made those Pogba comments just before a massive Champion league game last year. Is Lingard still with Raiola too or was that only a brief association ? I think after Paul leaves we don't have any of his players left. Also - Let's please never touch another Raiola client again yeah?
I was in this camp until the last couple of months where his performance just haven't warranted a big new deal which Raiola will push for. I also feel he's peaked physically, combine that with injuries and it's just not worth the high wages.I must be one of the few people in this forum who actually wants him to stay. We have much, much bigger needs and problems in the squad before we sort out the Pogba issue.

And statistically! So not much of an argument to be fairHe was officially the best player.
Such an insult that was, and sums up his mercenary, feck everybody else attitude.100%, it still annoys me to think of when he made those Pogba comments just before a massive Champion league game last year. I think Pogba's battles with the club in the media without the club saying boo to him over the years have paved the way for Rashford PR to do the sameSuch an insult that was, and sums up his mercenary, feck everybody else attitude.
Agents are what they are, but that guy is beyond. Poisonous.
Yes I think pogbas our last link to the twat.
Salah and Mane weren’t record signings either. Pogba adds further insult since this would be the second time he’s left.I feel like if Salah or Mane left Liverpool without them getting any transfer fee, they would be pretty widely hated and criticised by both club and fans.
Pogba has been getting criticised, but only for his godawful performances, not for the shittiness of leaving the club without them getting a fee.
Feels like him and Lingard should be getting more of a doing over this to be honest. The clubs paid them tens of millions over the years + trained them since youth/given them opportunities.
So what you're upset about is that he's not getting enough stick??I feel like if Salah or Mane left Liverpool without them getting any transfer fee, they would be pretty widely hated and criticised by both club and fans.

If it happens now we'll blame youStill slightly nervous every time this is bumped
POGBA TO STAY IN NEW 600K A WEEK 6 YEAR DEAL
Thats pretty much been his level since he got here. EL. We needed him to step up and start running games for us. Entering his prime he could and should have hit beast mode trying to get us back to the top given what we’ve been paying him and how gifted he is and how lofty his ambitions seem to be. Meanwhile Pogba shrugs shoulders and talks about leaving. He’s nice guy goof ball in a team and club that needs more leaders and far more drive and he can’t stay fit to save his life. Thank god its nearly over. Not a good comparison. Pogba was arguably our best player when we won the Europa League.
