It's ok, last week's incredibly well-thought out and deserved destruction of Liverpool will save LVG's skin.

We are falling faster than most could've predicted. A very average side. I reckon 2/3rds of our players aren't up to the standard. Someone needs to be accountable, and I think it is a lot more than that...

Feelgood factor from last week evaporated in minutes. Setting up as if Barca were coming to Old Trafford. Januzaj getting five minutes at the end with Memphis another attacking option too. He can't be defended at all and brought this on himself, he just doesn't get it.

Needless thread. Should be merged with the LVG out thread!!!!! Because the only thing worth discussing right now is LVG's job! Not post match vs Soton!

If he survives this he'll last at least the rest of the season.

Seriously, he must be sacked. It would be utterly insane if he was still our manager on Monday. This was utterly awful. Our performance had no redeeming quality whatsoever. We're drowning in our own shite.

That was so ugly. Horrible.

Obvious Southampton would be the team to win it.

Toilet.

Toilet manager, toilet players, toilet!

But, Juan Mata will write a blog about how it's important to improve and keep believing and Chris Smalling will come out with some other barrell of shit as per usual, instead of doing it on the pitch

In a way, it perfectly sums up the club at the moment. All talk and no action

Deserved loss. So much wrong with that performance I wouldn't know where to start. Why did he revert to 3-5-2? Why did he not change the formation when it was clear we couldn't get going? It was horrible. Horrible.

We conceded last year against Soton in the 80th minute, this time we held on for 10 more and could have nearly nicked a point. We have made some progress..

The unbeaten run had to end sometime...

This one is truly the worst of the season. Forget the bourmouth and norwich. This is the worst weve played and the worst managing I've seen. To see the shape isn't working for the whole match and not try and change it once is plain stupidity. Sack him now

What a gutless, negative performance that was ! So afraid of Southampton, we weren't even prepared to commit players in attack.

Finish above Liverpool. That's the only thing I care about for the rest of the season.

Top 4 is gone, someone will bum us in the Europa, same in the FA Cup.

Poor showing today. We really need some reinforcements, it is all well and good playing some kids, but we can't rely on them as much as we are currently doing. Knew the moment we went behind that it was game over, we just don't have the ability to come from behind at the moment.
