Even some gunner fans were disappointed with that.
When you consider our next two games, it isn't fantastic either.Ya well done Arsenal, they were great. 2 points off top really isn't bad.
That was coming, Rooney won't start next week
Arsenal were brilliant, no doubt. But to play an old 2 men midfield was just careless as wellThat first 20/30 minutes from Arsenal is the best football I've seen in the Premiership since Liverpool a few seasons ago.
Fast, incisive, deliberate, and every single pass was absolutely inch perfect.
Whatever 11 we fielded, we would have struggled to keep up with them I feel... but I think having a solid midfield (3 in there instead of 2 - which should be par for the course away at the Emirates) would have stopped the wave a little bit.
We got thrashed under Fergie too.I miss Fergie.
I agree with thisBad day at the office all round.
LVG didn't set us up right, we looked tired, we were stunned by Arsenal's unusual intensity and we then totally ran out of ideas to get us back into the game.
Still, it's important to remember that things are still going well overall this season. Early October and we're third, a couple of points off the top. That's a perfectly fine position to be in.
Today was bad and lessons need to be learned but we shouldn't overreact and forget the positives of this season either.

Horrible result but let's put it into perspective, away to a title contender, any point is a bonus. Especially when you've played a tough match on the Wednesday and they've played on Tuesday.

Do you think United played very well and Arsenal needed to play out of their skins to beat us here?
