Mou likes to fall back after scoring 1 against good opposition. If only United would've just kept playing football.....
Mou keeps trusting our defence to hold firm. He needs to realise that we need at least a 2 goal lead. Even then, I would not trust our defence.
For whatever reason, after we score a goal, we shut down and allow the opponent to dominate us. This was happening under LVG, too, and is continuing under Jose.

Jose's fault. We were so solid because we didn't give them anything and didn't have to defend and fall apart like we usually do. Cue going more defensive after the first goal and look what happens.

It's pathetic that we can't deal with one attack though. We really are a shambles defensively.

We looked like a team prior to that, with no major standouts (in a good way), apart from Mata. Great finish from him too. Really difficult to control that ball.

I just want to know one thing, was Mata injured? Less than 10 minutes to go, in complete control, Arsenal barely getting a sniff of the ball. Then, off comes Mata, our best player, for a more defensive midfielder. We utterly relinquish control, sitting back and inviting them, and conceding almost instantly. If that's a tactical sub by Mourinho he can seriously feck off. Two points casually thrown away from a position of near certain victory. Sickening.

That's why we're not a top team anymore. Last 3 teams at old Trafford have come and done feck all and we've not beaten any of them

Absolutely gutted. Top four down the drain.

Our best performance for a while and they score with their only chance of the half. We should've had this game dead and buried by then. Rojo guilty of missing the clearest chance.

Special credit to Marriner - they should've had at least two players sent off, and we should've had a penalty, but he was determined not to give us anything. What a cretin of a man. We really do have some shocking officials - yet no one is allowed to say anything. :houllier:

I hate the refs in this country with a passion - what a bunch of self indulged wankers.

What the feck was up with Rashford the whole game today?

He half-heartedly jogged around even when up front, and that pathetic attempt at defending at the end was diabolical.

Jesus fecking Christ mate, don't get too full of yourself already.

That's on Jose today. The front 6 picks itself and it worked well. Our weak point was our defence and Jose invited pressure on them in the last 5 minutes. Cost us 2 points. Should of stuck to our strengths. Really simple stuff.
Our defense was fine for the entire game. It was one error in 90 minutes that cost us, and it was completely against the run of play. Mourinho was faultless today as far as I'm concerned.

Can't be surprised Arsenal score after throwing 3 attacking players on for 3 defensive players. How easily they scored was disappointing.

I feel sick. I thought we would get a draw before the game, but you can never sit back on a one goal lead

If I hadn't won a few quid earlier this morning, I would be really pissed with this day so far. A United win would have made a perfect day....and they couldn't hold on for 5 more minutes. Two more points dropped. Cue the Liverpool and Chelsea masterclasses later.

Cowardly performance by Arsenal and we let them get away with it. Should have killed the game off with a much needed second goal.

Sickening. Stoke, Burnley, and now Arsenal at OT. It's more than bad lack that we're not finishing these teams off.

Most fans don't seem to understand football. You do know it is difficult to control a game for 90 minutes against a side of equal quality (WHO WANT AN EQUALISER), Mata was limping, but that is Jose's fault obviously.

Good peformance, disappointing result. Like many games this season. The signs are there that eventually we'll get what we deserve.

Weak.

Can't blame the manager or the ref for that. Jose had the measure of Arsenal as he always does but when they were down and out in that second half, we didn't have the character or the ruthlessness to put the sword through them.

Martial, Rashford and Pogba were just walking about the place for large portions of that game. Stupid backwards, sloppy passes when they were there for the counter.

This isn't a Manchester United team and those aren't Manchester United players. They're just weak.

Giroud has got our number. Fecking scores every time against us. Positive is that the performance was good

Mourinho and his trusted ones bottled it
 Sarcasm I hope.

We played very well. Silly mistake in the end, but if we didn't lapse at that moment, we'd have subdued one of the best attacking sides in the league to not having one shot on target.

Mourinho set it out perfectly, the players just couldn't follow it for the whole 90 mins. Draw isn't the end of the world, but we can kick on with some far more winnable games for the rest of 2016.

Absolutely gutting. Arsenal are completely average other than Sanchez and they were shocking today. Can't believe we didn't win the game.

It feels so deflating. Easily should have been a win Arsenal offered absolutely nothing. Mourinho is making the same mistakes van Gaal made with these players - inviting pressure after taking a lead. Last 15 minutes we should have kept moving forward.

People are going to waste their breath by trying to find something to blame this on. You can always come back from 1 goal and everything fell to Arsenal this game. Every unsure decision, every deflected pass, crosses.

This game was just bad luck.

Dropping off in the last 10 mins was criminal especially we could have played like we had been all game since arsenal were not even threatening till that point.

A good game from us but we can't drop off like that with this squad or team.

Robbed. They didn't deserve anything today. This result is very hard to take.

Anyway....credit to the lads today. They were passionate, motivated, composed and followed Mourinho's tactical instructions. We were the better team and deserved to win. Shame Rashford couldn't stop Chamberlain...

How the feck are they so far above us in the league, we're a much better team.

Poor refereeing and not putting them to bed means moments like that are always possible.

The only real question is how have Arsenal only lost once this season?

They were garbage

We played brilliantly, controlled that pretty much from start to finish but one mistake cost dear. Tony V, Mata, Herrera and Carrick were brilliant today.

After a while you have to stop calling it bad luck. We don't score when on top and shutting up shop with just a one goal lead and a make shift back four is always risky.

Completely robbed today :(. Marriner is a fecking joke. First the penalty decision, then those "interesting" advantages in the space of 5 minutes when we were leading

They had one shot on goal and scored. Not going to blame the defense here, well played from Chamberlain and a very good run and header from Giroud

Let's look at the bright side here lads. We were the better side and only some rotten luck coupled with shit refereeing made it a draw.

Edit: And to the people saying we "sat back", get a clue. We created two huge chances: Rojos header and the cross from Rooney who was inches away from Pogba. We did NOT sit back, but got suckerpunched by two moments of individual brilliance from Arse players

Generally, Marcus rashford has gone very lazy. probably, his head is swollen and his work ethnics has deteriorated.
Time to drop him and made him work harder.

ref bottled the pen.

we played well, should've won. good play between pogba, herrera and mata for a good goal.

rashford let charmberlain beat him way too easily, and jones and valencia should've done better for their goal.

people will focus on the schneiderlin for mata sub but it was a smart sub, mata was getting tired and we needed cover since arsenal was throwing the sink at it by launching a bunch of attacking players, as i said, if rashford hadn't been so static and let chamberlain just breeze past him, we would be celebrating a well deserved win right now.

Just not good enough again, you just knew we wouldn't hang on
Yeah? You knew that while we were dominating the match and they didn't even have a shot on target until late in the game?

People's reactions of "not good enough" are so predictable based on the result.
