Good professional performance, not expending too much energy, sets us nicely for the Derby.

The whole defence was very good. We all know what Bailly is capable of but credit to Young, Blind and Darmian too for not giving Burnley a sniff.

Couldn't watch the match today..

Can anyone tell me:

- how did martial and Rooney play aside from the goal?
- how did Blind play? I like Blind
Martial was brilliant. Rooney OK but hit/miss, definitely wouldn't play him Thursday.

Blind was solid.

Although none of them were game changing there were loads of p*ss poor decisions by the ref and his team-almost all against United.

No complaints. Martial, Bailly, Herrera, Pogba, Fellers all did well.

Just want the lads to rest up, and Martial to keep working hard:D

Near on ideal outcome, some rotation and still a very comfy win.

Real pressure on City now, 1 point behind with level games, and play them next.

Could do with Palace doing something at Anfield now.

Didn't see it but I'm rather pleased to see who scored. We're gonna need them both in the run in, so a good time for a confidence boost.

Great result. Really don't want to see Rooney in a United shirt next season, goal or not, his decline as a footballer is horrendous.

Thought Pogba, Bailley and Martial were excellent.

Very good win for MUFC. However, took the foot off straight away after HT. Shame we didn't go for it, pool still have a 3 goal lead over us and no doubt it's coming down to GD at the end of the season.

Hope Pogba is ok.

Come on Palace!

Rooney quiet apart from goal. Martial was really good in the 1st half, a bit worse 2nd but nothing special, he made 71 runs and was all over the pitch, really put an effort.
Blind had a good game imo. Did his job.

Didn't expect this win. Great first half and very proffessional with a lot of tired players. I'm liking our play with pace up top and great to score on the counter.

Shaken, and very stirred......
Very relaxed win. The players are being asked so much of them at the moment with all the injuries and they are working their socks off. Mourinho is certainly starting to see the fruits of his labour and you can see his influence all over the pitch. Really proud of the team today. I'd be surprised if there were serious injuries, I think they are just knackered........ice, massages and a nice cup of tea should do it.....:smirk:

Not surprised, we've been better away than at Old Trafford all season. Wonder why that is. Lower expectations, less pressure from the crowd?

Solid game by Martial and Pogba. Hope we didn't pick up more injuries.
I think it suits mou's tactics best. He is a counter attacking coach. When he has to play at home he has to come out and play.

Rooney looks half dead in that interview on Sky!

Great professional performance all round today, Martial, Pogba and Bailly were superb and I thought Herrera again gave us that bit of bite in midfield well.

Hopefully Martial will get more chances and keep up that work ethic from game to game.

Was the same under Moyes IIRC.
Yes it was, we were top of the away games table for most of the season under Moyes. It was mostly the home games that dragged us down to 7th. Wonder why that is under certain managers. A mental block, trouble living up to the expectations of a home crowd who want to see good football?

We didn't play all that well, never got him on the edge if his seat, second goal was lucky.
What a bitter twat.
Burnley haven't conceded more than 2 goals at home all season I believe.

Solid performance.

Martial up top looked very good. Him and Rashford in future could be incredible based on their potential.

Pogba ran the show. Even Rooney played pretty well I thought. Lingard was probably the only quiet one.

Good result. Everylne played reasonably well and it was just what's needed today. Hope there's nothing in those Pogba and Bailly injuries.
