Good match that. Fantastic defensive performance. If not for Bailly forgetting what his feet were Liverpool wouldn't have been in that game.

Nervy second half, as I expected us to sit back and make them work to score.

Good win, and puts us in a good spot for top 4.

Big match on Tuesday. Come on!

You can only applaud that despite whatever elements of the performance. A big win against the biggest bastard rival we have - always a good thing. Won by goals from a local youth player.

Need to be better obviously in certain aspects and the second half was far too one-sided but cannot complain overall.

Also feck Klopp the moany cnut.

Great first half. Reverted to type in the second but it worked and could be invaluable practice for the champions league.

This was more or less like a final for 2nd place, so Klopp was never winning this one.

Disappointed that they scored despite creating nothing. Ecstatic with the win and the team effort today.

180 minutes against Liverpool without them creating nothing. Player of the season non-threatening. Other teams should take note.

GET THE feck IN. First half brilliant performance all around. 2nd half brilliant defensively. They didn't create a chance all game. Bailly is fecking immense. The difference with and without him in our defending is massive. Was pessimistic before the game but they were brilliant.
Rashford you legend

Liverpool dominated possession but really they offered very little threat to De Gea, if any at all. A freak own goal their only goal.

Superb defensive performance.

Thank jebbing christ.

If that same series of events happens against Sevilla I'll probably not survive it.

That game completely drained me. Our last three games have been the three most satisfying wins so far this season. We're fighting the wins home at the moment and it should bode well for the run-in.

Good performance. Liverpool have a really potent front line and they are bang in form. We really didn't let them have many real chances. Great game plan perfectly executed. Job Done !

Oh and the MUFC "fans" before the match who were saying that LFC will score many goals....in reality they couldn't even score 1.
They needed Baily to score a goal for them.

Excellent first half, thought we sat too deep in the second and didn't do enough on the counter. Still, I can't remember De Gea being overworked at any time. It took a little mistake on our part for them to come back into it but Salah barely had a look in today.

Gutted with the first half performance, that’s where we lost the game. Gave ourselves too much to do against a very good side.

United defended brilliantly in open play but had a few dodgy moments from set pieces. We need to replace Lovren because games like these expose how useless he can be. Lukaku bullied him. Young was fantastic against Salah who had a disappointing day and McTominay quietly had a very effective game.

Great atmosphere, fair result.

Terrific first half.

Questionable second half. Don’t see the necessity of taking that approach - because you’re inviting trouble.

That said, great character once again.

Huge, enormous win! Brilliant win. Great 1st half, nervy second but they were never dangerous really. Masterclass by Mou and the team. Bailly and Marcus were huge.

Great that Klopp will be absolutely livid today and will rave about how one team wanted to play. He can fe.k of.

Brilliant win. Thought that was the most Mourinhoesque I've seen the side to date in a big game and I mean that as a compliment.. played when we needed to, shut up shop really well and even in second half we had some chances to score on counter.

Only concern is Sanchez.. he looks a yard short of pace and I hope it's not fitness related.

Seasons are defined by big moments that generate momentum. The Palace result and this one today are an excellent platform for a very strong finish to the season. Lets make sure we carry this into the Sevilla game now.
