What a performance, especially coming off a very tricky week.

We can be really good when we have to be professional. Everybody played well.

Bruno doesn't score or turn up in big games according to a very jealous Paul Scholes, who doesn't like that there's potentially an heir to his throne!

Credit to the players for showing up today. I decided to play Call of Duty instead.

This did not feel like one of those times when the underdogs would rise to the occasion but here we are.

Im telling you all right now, we are going to win. The season has been that fecked up, its going to happen. It will all them battering against the door for 90 minutes, but we will score two on the counter and shit house a win.
I should have put some cash down!

Bar the result the best thing for me was Martials performance. Best he’s played in a long long time.

Excellent result & positive performance. Makes the last couple of results even more annoying.

Shaw continues his fantastic form & deserved his goal. Wish Tony took his chance, put in a very impressive performance otherwise.

City style suited our counter attack approach(which once again showcases what type of football ole is good at having us playing). Good victory nevertheless but I have seen this many times before in the past. I am not confident that this will be a turning moment, but it may as well seal us top four which is great financially and towards attracting players.

What's odd is that despite the great result and some good performances, there's a lot of players you could point to for not playing that well.
Very much a team performance that one.

Really good team performance. 1st half I felt we gave them alittle too much room but we smartly congested them in the 2nd.
Great overall game from Shaw and Martial and Bruno looked back to himself in the 2nd.
Lets build on from here.

Amazing win. fecking buzzing. What a way to end our mini-slump!

We run the Etihad. That’s our pitch. Is that 4 wins in 5 now? Hopefully this triggers a collapse for them. Lets not give up just yet! Come on boys!

Every time that you think things might be starting to go wrong, this team produces a performance like that. What a fantastic win against an outstanding side, that was a terrific display today and a thoroughly deserved victory in which everyone played well and Solskjaer got the set up right (playing with ambition where possible) and he clearly had the players up for it from the start. One thing is for sure, Henderson needs to be given the chance from now until the end of the season to see if he can be the long-term number 1 but I really liked what I saw.

I got laughed at and ridiculed when I said we would best City after the Palace draw midweek. United are fantastic when teams don’t sit back and City would never do that today.

Pep should try and buy some of that "individual brilliance" we seem to have in abundance, and stop trying to coach his team -> seems to work apparently.

Hell yeah.. get in ....

We should have attacked them more like we did in the first five mins..

But I am happy ... City ain't omnipotent..

And Shaw my MOTM

That felt soooooo good.
Looked shaky for many moments in the first half with our wayward passing, but we settled down and took control after the second goal. Looked like we could have scored another one or two on the counter, whereas City got balls into the box but kept messing up their opportunities.

Luke Shaw was fantastic. One of our best performers this season. Delighted with Martial's performance, too. Getting a clean sheet is pretty huge, too. Just an all-round fantastic day.

Epic performance, despite a wrecked Bruno and Rashford and no Pogba. Add Haaland in the summer and we can start talking about trophies.

Bittersweet victory. We shouldn't be that far behind.

We dropped points in 6 of the 8 last games...

WBA, Palace, SU, are especially infuriating.
