Didn’t even try and win this game. No game plan at all. No ideas. He’s not good enough. Everybody knows this except our fecking board

This is so fecking depressing. Abused, debased, molested by far far better manager and his team.

That was worse than the Liverpool game but far more predictable. Too many none footballers in the squad.

The last of a hard streak of games, at least we kept that total conceded to single figures!

Outplayed, outclassed but expected that before the game even started.

Ta ra Ole, a Manchester United team cannot perform like that. Was like City were playing a league one team!

Utterly humiliated by both of our biggest rivals. Shameful given the squad we have and money spent, the players just aren't coached.

Does Ole have to concede the “He has a good record against Pep which means he can’t possibly be tactically inept” trophy after today?

I don't usually post in the football forum but here it is. What the absolute feck was that?

Set up to what look like counter attack and then proceeded to play slow short passes sideways under intense pressing from City in our own box. Fernandes at one point shouting at the defense to stop dropping further back towards goal whenever City had the ball which tells you all you need to know about how we were set up.

The amount of times we played with zero urgency right on the edge of our own box was astounding. Made the players panic and ultimately led to numerous feck ups. City had no problem breaking us down and at one point they could take the ball just outside our box, pass it back to their own half, and still get through us again because we were all statues that slowly shuffled in reverse towards De Gea.

De Bruyne actually slipped, full on, during a City counter, and managed to get back up, look around him, and find a pass with ease because none of our team were actually pressing their players.

Nothing changed when it was clear we needed to adapt our play, either, other than just becoming a brick wall. City would've scored more if we weren't stacking the back (and because City's chief point man is a bullying useless twat like Jesus), which would be fine if we weren't already down 2-0 at that point. Rather than trying to chase a win it looked like we set up not to get embarrassed like the Liverpool game again.

I'm sorry, but until someone who isn't tactically inept comes in we're going to be fecked. 4 points out of 18 available? fecking hell. That's it.

City didn’t even make a sub. They didn’t break a sweat, it was that easy.
Joke of a manager we have, I’m actually starting to hate him.

- 0 touches in the City 18 yard area for the entirety of the 2nd half
- 1 corner kick for the whole game

Im too scared to even look at the possession stats.

Worst than Liverpool defeat. We didn't even look like scoring a single goal today. That's how much we were suffocated.

Woeful. Scoreline may be better but this was every bit as abject as the Liverpool game. It's just that they had Salah to finish the chances. The idea that we might have finished level in points today with City is laughable. We were awful from start to finish.

Back three was a mistake. I thought pregame that the back three combined with the absent Cavani meant we'd just sacrifice possession and it turned out that way. Greenwood and Ronaldo just don't work enough to make that a viable pair in a game like this. Individual errors may have done for us, but City we're worth their goals.

Second half we changed things but looked like we didn't know what we were supposed to be doing. Just wandered around looking lost.

This is a team rock bottom on confidence. Doesn't know what it's supposed to do or how to play. Left trying to figure out what to do mid game by themselves while city look like they have a plan for every occasion. No ideas. We look totally spent.

This is 1 win and 4 defeats in 6 games now. It's worse than Jose was after 11 games in the season he got sacked. I would say that Ole is done for but honestly he might not be. Will we have to wait for more defeats against Chelsea and Arsenal before it happens? Or will he cling on no matter how many defeats?

Incredibly depressing all round.

Gutless, worthless performance. The second half was a waste of everybody's time. City decided the game was done and so it was.

That must absolutely be Oles last game (as should many others have been)

We all know it won't be which is a fact even more tragic and pathetic than our "performance"

Minnows United…I am more embarrassed by this then the 1-6. We are a small club and play like it.

just pointless - we will maybe scrape 4th but with this squad its not good enough.

we simply produce individual brilliance against poor sides but we have no cohesive play when we play elite teams. All of the above point to coaching and tactics, it's just not good enough. Title challenge over in November not April, he has to go mine as well give a new manager some time to see and hopefully we can challenge next year.

Like playing against training cones and our inept board have allowed this to happen. Ole needs putting out of his misery.

Sack him and save something of our dignity here even for the fans, if anything just left.
Top 4 can be gone now. Not a single reason he should stay. Two humiliating home defeats by our main rivals and they made us look like poor kids and totally gave up on football at our own turf. Out
