We're good with Casemiro and Eriksen, average with just Casemiro and utter shite with neither of them. Only positive from that is Martial getting some minutes and looking half decent.

Unfortunately, the season is trending one way at the moment, and it's not up. We've been like this for weeks and weeks. It ain't looking great. The squad isn't good enough, and the players that are good enough are knackered.

Dragged into a top 4 battle that we didn’t need to be dragged into! So poor from minute 1 to 90
Absolutely this, only have themselves to blame for being dragged into the battle. Too many dips in form far too often & players going missing in games

I'm sure the ref enjoyed his day out. The crowd cheered every decision he made.

As usual, our players are ready for the summer holidays in March/April.

Newcastle are a shite club. I hate United being that team to give shite cnuts like this a momentum boost time after time.

The margin by which teams are outworking us is going to make the run in a massive struggle

How are they still knackered though? Just had weeks off. They are supposed to be world class athletes.

The manager has to take his share of the blame for that one. Wout had to go off at half time, we were playing with 10 men, Newcastle were all over us.

The triple sub was bizarre.

Worryingly, Rashford wasn't in it, hopefully he isn't burnt out.

Newcastle deserved their win, we must do much better.

We were poor, but this is a Newcastle side that have only lost 1 game at home this season. To add to that, our away form this season has been awful, so today's outcome isn't much of a shock.

We need to dust ourselves down and go again, as we've got another tough game on Wednesday.

Casemiro, Licha, Rashford's purple patch and maybe Eriksen are positive only things this years. Everything else is just meh.

We could find ourselves 6th by the end of tomorrow.. a win in the league cup isn’t enough progression for me, especially if we finish behind the likes of Newcastle who aren’t all that but were made to look world beaters today.

Honestly a lot of players still need shipping. 0 added value to the team for some of them.

Dalot
Sancho (when their overrated everton winger shows you up with less playing time, you know you're failing badly)
McTominay

Not to mention WW and Sabitzer don't need joining permanently.

And please stop playing Bruno in the quarterback role for God's sake.

Whatever....

This is on the players and Ten Hag...

The players were shit through out the game.

Ten Hag made shit decisions today, so he is as culpable as the players too.

Unacceptable performance

Everything about that game was awful. Not a single positive. We weren't unlucky. The ref didn't screw us. It's all on us. The manager and the players were terrible and we deserved a thrashing quite frankly

That was a really worrying performance given the break some players have had. Can’t blame that on tiredness

Fortunately this exactly what I expected from this team prior to kick-off.
We have been bad for a while now.

Lethargic! We are much weaker without Casemiro and Eriksen but that doesn’t excuse the lack of fight or running we saw today. We have the ball away constantly and didn’t win a single 50/50 while they pressed and harassed us with ease. It was either a very tired or very lazy performance.

Fecking deplorable across the board. And I include the Manager this week.

0-2 flatters us. If we make it to the FA Cup final and play like that against City, it’s going to be double figures for them.
