One of our best performances for a very long time... we even defended at times! Amrabat might just have played himself into the Wembley team over the past two games.

A fantastic goal from Hojilund which proves what happens when we pass him the ball: showed strength and determination before a clinical finish. Good too from Armad and both the19th-choice CBs (after Cas' early madness). Bruno's best game in a long time - the rest clearly did him good - have been saying for a long time that he looks exhausted. Garno also looks knackered - should give him the day off at Brighton.

It’s great to see a deserved victory vs Newcastle (one of the in form teams) with goals from Mainoo, Amad and Højlund, and Garnacho not having an even faintly good day (mentally knackered?). Give them a couple of years of consistency and experience, it might be great fun to watch on a regular basis, and we would still have an extrordinary young team.

You could also see hints of what Licha brings to this team when he came on.

Agreed, especially on Licha. Having a stable defence would have made a whole load of difference to this year's results. Exciting to see these youths develop.

Yea, we get restless sometimes, but the amount of minutes given to U21 players this season must be high up among the best for a team even in 7th/8th place.
