As I said in the matchday thread, it's a victory, but it doesn't feel like one. I will never forgive Van Gaal for sucking the joy out of this club; no United win should leave me feeling like this.
I really don't want us to get top 4 but then I think of Man City in the CL again and I think .. feck it, they're even worse. Honestly the only english team which would actually be refreshing to watch in the CL next year would be Liverpool.
Goes without saying if we want top 4 we need to improve about 100 times over on Tuesday, think Martial potentially being out makes the game so much harder especially with how terrible Memphis was again.
I'll take it for now, anything to get us over the line. I've long since given up on expecting us play entertaining, competent football. Sad to say it, but that's the state of play whilst Louis 'it's a process' van Gaal is in control.
Let's just hope Arsenal can help us out tomorrow and we somehow pull a win out of the bag at Upton Park.
Poor game but we won which at this stage is the most important.
Thought if we scored we'd win, Norwich offered virtually no threat at all.
Memphis and Lingard absolutely awful
Herrera MOM for me, always trying but can't rate him or vote for him!!
