Wembley here we come! Pretty easy evening, didn’t really try that hard and came away with a 2 goal win. Great to see Sancho back, don’t think he is starting games anytime soon but it was a nice cameo in the 10 position and played a part in the 2nd goal.

Job done, twat the geordies, top 4 and a cup will be fantastic for ETH first season, welcome back Jadon and Casimero is a beast..
@Forest Red hope you guys stay up this season.
Fair play - good luck in the final, I really hope you beat the feckin Geordie gobshites. There’s a massive quality gap between us and you but i’m really confident we’ll stay up.

The first half showed how much Eriksen does for our team, we missed his link up play in the final third today, Bruno had his best game in a long time and how the feck that wasn't a penalty on Weghorst?

Nice to be back in a final! No intensity 1st half but the difference when the front 3 was changed was clear as day.

Better book the Monday off after the final!

Buzzing we’re through to the final

A bit lucky because Forest were the far superior team over the two legs, but I’ll take it

Who gave the cross ball to Rashford for Fred's goal? I can't watch league cup games. I hope BBC shows the final?

A bit concerning that we still struggle to score in games we absolutely dominate. We definitely need to sign a striker like Osimhen in the summer.

God I love South American commentators. Even though I can't understand a word they're saying atleast there's enthusiasm and clear love for the sport on show when a goal is scored compared to our miserable feckers.

Fred looks like he could get a few goals next to Casemiro in the team.

They're really poking Roy with the improvement since the "exit" aren't they?

Craig burley as a commentator must be the worst shit ive ever heard in my entire life. He managed to say that casmeiros tackle was as bad as andy carrol. He said the goal was just lucky lucky. For 70 min he just shit talked everything united did. Absolutely retarded commentary.
Yeah. Ignore him.

He was dreadfully negative. Even his co-commentator, the professional, confrontation avoidant type, felt forced to, in the most gentle way possible, make explicit how miserable he had been.

There's plenty of streams online you can watch on - BBC won 't be showing it

Poor enough first half. In 2nd gear really. Upped it a bit 2nd half and the subs killed it off.
Happy days. Hope we win it!

Job done and done well. Atmosphere seems to be back, the team is on the way back, happy days!
If it wasn't back for a cup semi final with team cruising to Wembley then serious questions should be asked!

Either you"re Wumming or you need to go to Specsavers and join the queue with the referee for an eye test

5:0 aggregate shoreline.
It’s good to be in a final again.
Another pathetic refereeing performance. The non penalty, the Fred yellow.

I hope it's another 25 years before Forest get a chance to score against us. Everything about this game really pissed me off. The referee and the insufferable commentary. Felt like the latter was trying to guilt trip United for winning the game or something, apart from giving me a splitting headache. And Liverpool would have had at least two penalties awarded in the first half. feck off.
That was my biggest take away from this game.

Job done. Referees showing again that they the 'safe' thing to do is not give anything to Man Utd. The decision tonight won't be talked about for five days. It's the easy way out.

Good result and delighted to be in a final, feels like it's been ages. Of course it felt like a foregone conclusion after the first leg but we still needed to do the job. Really nice to see Sancho make a return and he looked tidy playing in that number 10 role. Linked up with the attackers well. Of course Martial back too is also great for our options. Hopefully this is a sign that he's back firing as well as it would be very welcome.

Was at the game tonight. Could tell the players were playing in 2nd gear throughout as they knew the tie was literally over. Delighted to see Sancho back. Got a great reception from everyone in the ground which would have done him the world of good. Ref was utter shite though.

Good to see Martial and Sancho back but it was odd to see him not put Sancho on the right wing but Bruno.

Maybe he doesn't want Sancho to compete with Antony for now but be a backup no10.

We'll probably know within a couple of weeks which position Sancho is now likely to fight for.

Really came across on the TV too - was pleased for the crowd and Sancho.

Good to be in a final. Now to get the job done against the jammy time-wasting cnuts. Although it is just the EFL cup, important to have a trophy.

On the game, we played in 3rd gear against a bunch of diving thugs assisted by one of the worst referees on field and in the VAR room.

Not surprised about the commentary when they both have connections to City

Lovely result and totally in control. How good was it to see a bench of Sancho, Rashford and Martial to call upon? Add Sabitzer and we are looking quite solid and with cover for a few different positions.

Eriksen back in the mix for the run in will be another huge boost. Let’s hope he gets ahead of schedule.
