Expecting a usual whinge from stats merchants how we conceded lots of useless long range shots. :wenger:

Ugly game, job done, bring on Liverpool.

Rubbish but Quarter finals. Job done that's all, not much else to shout about.

So is it okay now to choke your opponent?

Alright performance, poor finishing, average defending. Annoying listening to Shearer, very negative about United. I thought Antony and Onana did very well, Amrabat better after the position change. Rashford, Garnacho, Bruno didn’t do a lot for me tonight.

I’m sorry, but how did Felipe not get a red for a blatantly choking Fernandes. Casemiro would’ve been banned for life if that was him!

Bloody awful performance. I think both teams deserved to lose really

Rashford up top just doesn't work. Wish he'd just try McT there.

Clean sheet I guess?

Didn't think we were as bad as made out. Created lots of high xG chances, just couldn't put them away.

If Casemiro did what Felipe did, he'd be serving time.

Antony not bad, but still not good enough.

Come back Hojlund.

Wasn’t pretty but it’s a win and we are through to the quarter finals. Overall, we probably edged the game.

At least we had more possession in the second half tonight!

Casemiro's prolificity in the box is genuinely otherworldly, as much as his legs appear to have gone

Looks like Liverpool will have two stabs at getting another one of our managers sacked this time around.

That game could be used as another form of torture. Truly awful game of football and a real concern with city on Sunday.

Feels like a big win after the Fulham game and before City. More relieved than anything at getting the win.

Forgettable game, and some of our players don't deserve to be in the team but my god we are just coached so horribly it's obvious to anyone watching the deficiencies of our play.

We stay in the cup till next round but onky to be turned over by scouse kids!

A very low quality game for the most part, we had some good chances in the 1st half and probably should have been ahead but I actually thought the last half hour was the most encouraging in that we limited the counter attacks better and had some level of control. We will still get trounced if we play like that on Sunday but given my main complaint has been the lack of control shown it was pleasing to see us have some level of it in the latter stages tonight.

I don't think it was near as bad as some were making out.

At times there was some really good stuff, also plenty of rubbish but all the best chances were Utds.

Dalot was excellent, Amrabat went from utter shit to pretty good over an hour, McT was very active if erratic, they kept at it, and deserved to win in the end.

Clearly lacking a focal point up top and the LB position is wrecking balance, where is Malacia, what injury did he get?
