The manager has to take the blame for this performance, he can't see the obvious and it's really starting to make me question his skills in management. Terrible performance again from the team, absolutely shit and as dull as dishwater. I don't care that we got a point, I don't care about the last minute equaliser all I care about is the quality of football we are getting served every week.
The manager talks a fantastic game but the team serves up the same old shit every week, sort it fecking out FFS. I honestly thought we were turning a corner, I even saw glimpses of where we were going in terms of playing style but as usual,it was simply a mirage.

That was a terrible performance, i don't care if its west Ham away and they beat City, they lost to Arsenal and Spurs .... should have been chasing City, now we are in danger of dropping out of the top 4
Best time to be playing West Ham. They had a makeshift CB. Yet we gave him the easiest game possible.

We were woeful and I point most of the blame on LVG. That team selection was an absolute mess and he doesn't even bother changing it with subs.

Rooney cannot play right side of a diamond and Falcao with RVP upfront together is a disaster. Doesn't take a genius to see that we need to play one striker with a bit of pace and energy.

Play Herrera in midfield FFS and Mata had been our best player in the last few weeks but now he's demoted to an unused sub. I'm really starting to think Moyes would have done a better job If he had the chance to spend 150 mill odd.

Time for one of Falcao/RVP to be dropped. Simply not earning their place.

Fellaini should get more time. He's a nuisance in the box for opposition and I like his directness in contrast to the continued dull passing game the others are playing at.

Starting to wonder if LVG is the man to take us further.
He gets more and more stranger as the games go by. Not looking forward to march/April one bit.
Extremely lucky to get into top 4 imo

We are a poor team, and we have a real battle on our hands to finish top 4. Personally I believe the teams around us are better and we will miss out.

Van Gaal is really not impressing me at all. Baffling team selection again. The two West Ham forwards put our two to shame. We are not going to create a partnership out of our two so there isn't any point in trying.

Incredibly undeserved. I don't see why we took so long to make a sub, then in the end only made 1? (the 2nd doesn't count).

I really hope that draw doesn't paper over the cracks, that was apalling.
As shit as we were how was it undeserved?we created more chances than West Ham. Period.

fecking furious with LVG's team selections. Stop fielding two strikers upfront with no width in our team. It doesn't work and its not that much better than the 3-5-2.

I thought LVG was brought here because he played total football and could bring us an exciting fast paced brand of play. How wrong I was.

Why he can't implement the same shite we saw at bayern or barca I just don't know. He needs to stop experimenting with absolutely shite formations like the diamond and 3-5-2. Just stick with a 4-3-3 and drop the feckers who cant fit into the team (e.g. Falcao).

I think tactics rather than players today were the reason. We saw that once we went behind we can be quite good when we go for it and speed it up. The slow play is killing it. Main culprits Jones, Adnan and Rooney.

Overall, Rooney contributed sweet FA today. Thought 3 of the back four were really good today. Shaw starting to show his quality, Valencia does well in that role, and Rojo starting to show his physical stuff. Midfield very poor today, Blind had no help. Falcao lots of effort, RVP poor. DDG class as usual.

Same old performance we've seen for the past few months really. It's good enough to beat teams at home and nick it/draw away from home. Lets hope that's enough to scrape top four.

If we play like that we won't get top 4 I'm sure, but at least all of our big names are playing. Thats a plus or something.

Never expected us to win today given our away performances so far. A point away to West Ham isn't that bad though, Blind continues to prove his worth. I really doubt we'll see Falcao start the next game, hopefully Rooney moves back up front.

Again the result is better than the performance, to much of that happening this season. Anyone who still thinks we are a "dead cert" for the top four need to wake up.

It's either RVP or Falcao that needs to be dropped. Rooney in midfield is simply laughable and we lack so much in chance creation.

Not impressed by van Gaal.

Outfought and out-thought. We played right into their hands and it took LVG ages to change it. It's still worrying how poorly we start some games and then we suddenly look much better when we're forced to up the tempo. We're unbalanced because we keep trying to accommodate similar players up front and others in positions they don't specialise in.

Shocking. Based on that performance I question if we will make it into the top four. We were garbage.

We had no midfield, and our manager showed no inclination of having one. His subs didn't help our buildup, but at least Fellaini gave us a target for all our long balls.

Falcao and Van Persie must be amazing in training, because they are cak on match day. Why Rooney isn't playing up front I'll never know, he certainly ain't an #8. Van Gaal's words about completion for midfield places have been made to look idiotic but what we saw today. Di Maria, for example, looked lost.

So much wrong, so little right, a lot of it down to the manager's decisions. Has he not got the guts to drop a striker and add a body to midfield? Has he not got the insight to see Jones ain't a ball playing centre back, and Tony V can't cross a zebra?

Pathetic. We could've closed the gap on City today. Instead we'll get excuses about transition. Southampton are genuinely better than us at the minute. A lot of teams are!

He(LVG) quite simply does not learn. It's as if somebody erases his memory after each match.

Stop with RVP and Falcoa partnership, there too slow. Get Rooney uptop, preferably with mata behind him and Fellaini and Herrera in midfield.

Van Persie just stands there and does nothing, at least Falcao gets involved and puts in some effort. It's so frustrating.

Rooney still playing in midfield is ridiculous. Drop one of RVP/Falcao and play Rooney up top. Herrera please.

If this is the culmination of the work Van Gaal has done for the past months, then he's robbed us blind. Or Blind.

Frankly, this isn't what I expected at all. I don't actually feel that this is the Van Gaal I've seen and heard of in recent years. The formations, the insistance on two strikers, the style of play, this attempt to shoehorn all those stars together, the idea Rooney should be no matter what because he's the captain.

Who is this man and what has he done with Louis Van Gaal?

Bad game. Januzaj, Rooney and Di Maria are the main culprits. We couldn't string passes together to save our lives.

LVG needs to realise that we will never be 'balanced' in the diamond unless we start playing midfielders who suit their roles.

Play Blind, Fellaini, Di Maria with Herrera/Mata/ in the #10 and Wilson + Rooney up front and we'd look far better.

-1 point behind third.

-5 points behind second

One loss in 17 now ?

Horrocious performance. Still managed to grind a point out. No love lost here. Imagine the scenery if we lost today. I think its crystal clear that we need a defender with more height ? we seem to have lost every aerial duel. Falcao with an stunning miss. We cannot afford to have a Forlan 2.0 in this era. There will be serious questions marks if he keeps missing chances like these.
Just when I thought this day couldn't get any worse!

On current form and with the form of other teams we will not finish in the top 4 this year. Man Utd need to find a spark and fast. I hope forces LVG to do something about it and change things around because otherwise Man Utd will finish 6th... Spurs, Arsenal, Southampton and perhaps even Liverpool will finish above us. There is simply too much attacking talent in the team for it to struggle for goals like it has been. LVG needs to make a serious reassessment of his tactics because if he fails to get into the top 4 I can see him being sacked.

Poor showing. Surprised most by inability to get a foothold in the first half. Januzaj was not good as #10. Mata or Rooney should be there ahead of Januzaj.

Finishing from Falcao and RvP was non-existent. Wilson deserves a run up top.

Thought back 4 started to cohere-too bad Shaw will miss some games now.

Take the point and move on.

Yet again, we insist of leaving all our midfielders on the bench and then fail to create. Blame has to be completely on LVG today. Started a midfielder with 1 midfielder, and did nothing to improve our play. Total and complete lack of urgency.

It was not sleepy or Boring,West Ham got their tactics right by going long balls,Falcao and Januzaj were very poor,we've got to start using Wilson more. Its seems LVG does not understand the premier league yet and he is learning and he will come good for us.we need to get Rooney back upfront please.

Robbed them in that game. Very lucky to get a point. So many under-performing players out there today.

No wonder West Ham win every 2nd ball when Di Maria pussies out of just about any challenge. So many times it looked like he could easily win a free ball, but he just casually pokes a toe out, Samir Nasri-style.

Fergie might have been able to win games without a midfield, but Van Gaal can not. 3 good midfielders on the bench, and we have a 2 man midfield of Blind and Rooney, and 2 centre forwards who don't make runs which trouble the defence, or show for the ball.

We should have hammered them today. Depleted by injuries with a makeshift defence. We barely even got at them at 0-0. When we brought on Fellaini, we immediately highlighted their vulnerabilities, but it was too late.
