So come on, we all have a strong feelin that there will be some dealine day deals for United so let's have a think.

Because Martial is always injured and Ronaldo is looking to leave I'll kick things off with:

I'm very certain that the Dubravka loan will be in before deadline day.

IN
Depay £8M
Osimhen (Loan with option to buy)
Antony £80M (This one is going to be a deadline day deal I think)
A RB £25M
(The muppet in me wants to say FDJ too but I won't)

Out
AWB (15M or Loan with option to buy)
Ronaldo (Loan)
Garner £20M
Antony and Dubravka will be our last signings now that Glazers have seen 2 good results dampen the tensions.

Has a transfer window ever concluded on an actual gameweek day before?

How utterly bizarre is it to have players play and then possibly sold - with need for medicals and whisking away to some facility - a few hours later?

What about players who want away and will be fearful of injury on gameday potentially scuppering their move and thus refusing to play, or half-arsing it should they get on the pitch?
I’d imagine anyone being linked with a move away on deadline day wouldn’t play that day.

It is unusual though and a first I think.

Depay or nothing.
Think we are done tbh. Unless that portugese diva finds his dream move to Dinamo Zagreb or something

There's a lot of last minute wrangling on deadline day and deals that weren't even in motion at the start of said day - what happens there with players invariably in one situation and presented with a wholly new one (perhaps informed of such during prep for an actual game) etc?

It seems like an utterly bizarre thing to have scheduled on one of the most hectic days of a transfer window.

I wonder if there'll be dispensations handed out to get signatures over the line and medicals perfomed post-window.

I must say I’m surprised by the loosening of purse strings. Think it shows real intent; Ten Hag probably attached conditions to his arrival—knowing how they treated LVG etc. Shows fan power too—super league protest was a good thing. So i would not be surprised to see a striker come in — Memphis? Cavani on a free? Some unknown. Even as it stands, it’s been an excellent window. Five new signings, each some kind of improvement.

Don't see it happening at all after spending so much on Antony. I think we splashed out on him after panicking at early season form and the impending protests etc. I don't think they'll be spending more though after such a big investment.

Not only did he sign for Valencia, but we've just released him in a very dissatisfactory manner.

The Telegraph have written this morning that Antony and Dubravka are the final two deals.

My guess is that if anything else happens it will only be a loan or free transfer, for a backup striker.

I think we're done here. Maybe we get Depay but seems like a stretch.

CF Martial / Ronaldo / Rashford
LW Sancho / Rashford / Garnacho
RW Antony / Rashford / Garnacho
CAM Bruno / Eriksen
CM1 Casemiro / Scotty
CM2 Eriksen / Fred

I think that's decent enough. Really would've liked to see a CM that can control the game, but on Ten Hag to deliver now. Pool managed just fine without Thiago for the longest time for instance.

Don't see either happening in a million years, however if you had to pick one which could gather steam in next 48 hours out of FDJ/Osimhen

Ronaldo out to Napoli
Awb out for 15 mil to Palace
Dest in on loan.
Maguire out for 40 mil to Leicester.
Garner to Everton for 15 mil
Chong out for 6 mil.

Now lets be realistic;
Garner and Chong out. That is it.

After dubravka I think we're done which is a shame as we're still short in certain positions.

I'd take dest and depay if possible though on cheap.

Wow. Looks like it's going to be:

Dubravka
Dest
Memphis
Frenkie de Jong

I've resigned myself to the fact that Ronaldo isn't leaving (I think there would be more smoke by this point - seems to have cooled if anything) - so no striker reinforcement will be coming in.

There's a bit more in the AWB leaving I think - but reckon the club will wuss out on actually getting rid of him. So he'll stay and no replacement will come in.

Dubravaka will sign today/tomorrow, Garner will leave... that's it.

Amad and others might go on loan to EFL clubs but that could happen later.

Memphis and Dest would be a solid end to the window along with the departures of AWB and Ronaldo. Garner being sold is a sour point but funds need to be raised somewhere and we could always insert a buy back clause.

Feels incomplete. We have had a decent transfer window but not good. Still feel we are short and it is sad we would not be signing anyone before the window closes

I think we are still missing a CM and CF. A new RB and GK would be nice but lower priority in my opinion.

However I think if we get any deals done on deadline day it will be the Newcastle GK (still not done yet right?), Dest and Depay / Gapko.

Probably only the GK but the other signings wouldn't massively surprise me.

We've replaced half of the starting XI in one window, which is probably as good as you can expect from this board - although they did leave it late and it was most certainly a reaction to the terrible start. It has been a good window by a bad board. We might react to further bad results by buying in January.

I suppose your tongue is in your cheek here..?!

All would be desirable, in my opinion, but I will be shocked if we get more than about one or two of them done. I think the sheer effort involved will be beyond our administration. Here’s hoping though!

In the history of football, how many clubs have had a net spend of more than £200 million in one window ? So we can always hope for more, but it's impossible to complain about the money spent in this window.

Antony and the Newcastle GK still aren’t official, so them 2 will technically be deadline deals

I wouldn’t be surprised if nothing else happens for United tomorrow but I have a sneaky feeling that there’s a twist to the tale

No rumours whatsoever (apart from some exits), so unlikely we will see a 7th new player this window

You forgot Elanga here. He's ahead of Garnacho currently. Also left out DvB.

Depay and that golie who i can never spell his name right.

Funny thing is, out of all the players we will of signed this window, i wouldnt be surprised if Depay ends up being the best, at least in the short term as i expect Antony to end up a top player in a year or two.
