Commentator couldn't see sterling was clearly throwing himself through the air before the contact. Only his 46th dive of the day.
any match that Sterling didn't dive looking for penalty? A trait he learnt to do at his time at Liverpool and old habits die hard.

Poch should tell him to quit the acting..... the refs are looking for him to dive from days. He's not helping his team !!!

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
Sky basically crying about Newcastle's injuries.
It is kinda crazy how much of an easy ride Newcastle are getting in the media, certainly compared to Man United (who have had almost identical seasons so far).

Shat the bed in Europe, below West Ham in the league and it's still all praise or excuses.

And everyone has injuries. There no way Newcastle have had the most.

Exactly, there's also the fact that "they're doing it the right way" and the "plucky underdogs". It's ridiculous.

Always talked about as if they've come from the national league without spending a penny.

Forest just sign so many players don't they?

Just looking at their bench and what was the point of signing Nuno Tavares when he looked poor for Arsenal and he's quickly become third choice LB there behind Toffolo and Aina.

Dominguez looked a decent signing from Bologna but he's largely become a bench player aswell in last two months.

Montiel also looked terrible on his debut v Burnley and hasn't been seen since so big call to give him a game v Gordon.

Pretty much a must win for Newcastle to keep pace with top 4/5. Should be comfortable for them.

4231 - dropped Nico WIlliams, Yates and Toffolo - the three best players from Bournemouth and the last few matches. Santos is a bewildering manager!

Tavares was baffling - he’s crap and no one wanted him. Dominguez dropped a major bollock and gave a goal away which shredded his confidence. Montial has been injured but even so Nico has been MOM last 2 games - baffling.

yep Newcastle to win - We’re shit

It's like Cooper hit his head and thought he was just playing fm2023 and bought anyone and everyone.

It’s turning out that Cooper wasn’t responsible for most of the players that were bought. The players he wanted and got were Awoniyi, MGW, Nico Williams and a few others I can’t remember

Nah the Greek owner does the same with Olympiakos so he's just one of those probably in bed (there's an image I didn't want for Boxing day  ) with loads of agents and of course with Nuno coming in that means they'll be accessing Jorge Mendes cartel next month. Can certainly see them signing Daniel Podence given he's been frozen out at Wolves so that feels an easy loan deal.

If you look in the summer Forest only actually signed Elanga and then Matt Turner a week before the season started and then they had a fairly solid start so really should've let it as that rather than add another 6-7 on deadline day who aren't much better than what they have.

Awoniyi getting injured long term was the big disaster of the season.

Did Eddie Howe have one of them pens with multi colour things you click down? You know, that everyone had in primary school. If so that's amazing.

Bit harsh that, looked like Isak stepped over it rather than contact and then spun about 3 times

It’s seriously impressive that VAR consistently doubles down on refereeing mistakes. A referees union protecting each other.

There's contact and VAR shouldn't get involved, why the pointless delay?

Just scrap VAR already...
