Premier League game week 5

I hope none of the Man Utd fans ever use the term ‘lucky’ again. Good grief that was lucky.

You do know where you're posting right? Liverpool and Chelsea are the lucky bastards that Utd weren't given their 'penalties' that would have sent them top.

You've a lot to learn. :)

I'd be pissed if i had just played 94mn against Ronaldo and friends seeing a barely warmed up senior citizen take the decisive kick.

Is Ronaldo going to score that same goal every week with a keeper fumbling into his path for a tap in? Pretty sure he’s got three of those in as many games.

Hoping for a draw here...

He's there every time though. Sounds much easier than it is, to be constantly alive like that. Always onside too.

I was very confident of this game. Now I’m not.

Losing Mendy is a huge blow.

That Chelsea squad is looking really strong, and playing a system that really suits the players. Interested to see how Lukaku does, still have doubts on his big day mentality.

No chance, Rodgers is clear. What has Potter done exactly?
I have a preference for potter.
His team has an identity and they seem to stick with it regardless of the opponent.
When they lose matches it’s not because they didn’t attempt to win.
Not too many teams have that.
I would so love for Tottenham to replace Nuno with him.

Rodgers has won stuff but his ceiling isn't really high.

Brighton with fewer resources have been playing better than Leicester the last couple of seasons. We'll see what will happen with Potter in the next few years but I believe he's a better bet than Rodgers to really succeed with a bigger club.

Well we won't find that out for a bit since they're playing Spurs

Fun start to this match. Spurs love a little dive and a bit of a roll around though.

Yeah of course. It was more of an observation, not a dig. Four in three already.

We didn't score such type of goals for years. I am not complaining ;) long may it continue

I love a good well worked tap in to be fair. Something special about a well worked move ending with a striker tapping it in from a couple of yards. Ronaldo hasn’t had that yet for us, though. They’ve mostly been poor saves.

Question to the Chelsea fanns, why Chilwell isn't playing??

Is he injured?? Or just that Alonso is the preferred LWB option now??

If United started a game like Chelsea have today the match day thread would be in meltdown

If Tottenham can take at least a point out of this game then great. Will be hard though, Chelsea big favourites imo.

Tottenham really bringing the intensity to Chelsea so far.

Only 1 English player on the field for Chelsea. Impressive.
