I will either watch or I won't. Haven't decided between football or Netflix yet.

So you're gonna have United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal fans in London at the same time? It'll be chaos!

Bournemouth are my (current) local team so sort of a second side for me, and I hate to admit I actually enjoy watching them more than Spurs these days.

Although in fairness it's more chilled out watching them rather than my usual constantly having to be on edge, and if I was a proper supporter their defending would give me nightmares.

I always find Eddie Howe's football to be car crash. If their attack doesn't click they can be the worst team to watch. When it clicks they are one of the best in the league. I still think Eddie Howe needs to move on from Bournemouth. He could do decent for you guys if Poch leaves.

He'll fail at the highest level. His idea's arent as well defined as they should be especially after so much experience.

Yeah, they have some real 'on' days where those attackers click and everything looks great. On the break at times they can really be free flowing as well, the game against Chelsea last season was fantastic to watch.

Spurs are close tp that level and only a manager capable there would be tolerated by them.
I think Everton could be a better move but Spurs would not be bad by any means. He will do well whilst working with the likes of Kane, Son etc. You are right that he will never become a top coach till he knows how to setup his team defensively.

Nice to see Wilson score.
How do you feel about him being on loan this season?

I feel like he would have been a really nice squad/rotation option for you, and he's always a mean set piece option late on if you're trying to break a side down.

I seem to remember he wasn't impressing that much in pre-season. I think it'll be better for him to get some regular PL game time instead of only playing a League Cup fixture here and there for us. When everyone's fit we've got Origi, Chamberlain & Shaqiri as back up for the forward positions, so Wilson is some way down the list.

Next season I think we'll probably see him play a role.

Didn't he get a banger in pre-season? And a tidy finish against Dortmund too. Doesn't seem too bad.

For me Chamberlain is more effective in midfield and Origi through the middle. I'd rather have Wilson around than Shaqiri too if I was a Liverpool fan, but maybe that's just me.

All that said, good for the lad to get a season where he'll be playing pretty much whenever fit. But I was surprised he didn't have a place this year after a really successful season at Derby,

Yeah he scored a couple but his overall performances weren't that great. Shaqiri contributed during Christmas last season (more than I think Wilson would if he had to come in for a spell). I think Klopp's being patient and easing him in but he definitely needed to get some regular Premier League experience.

Think people at the club can see he has the ability, but the question is can he produce it on a consistent basis ? Tends to be on the periphery of play for long periods so I doubt Klopp would take to that. This season will probably be make-or-break for the lad. At least if he keeps scoring we'll get a decent fee for him. & if Klopp decides to keep him then he could be a decent option - as you've already stated - to bring off the bench.

Yeah this is something I have noticed. But does seem to have genuine match winning quality and is there a better free kick taker in the Prem at the moment? Maybe Ward Prowse, but Wilson is a genuinely great specialist in that respect.

I think you will try and move Shaqiri on next summer and bring Wilson through as his replacement in the squad. Seriously dangerous player to have around late on when the opposition are tired and giving set pieces away.

All makes sense.

I'm a bit of a sucker for a great FK taker though, I miss the feeling of excitement whenever Bale used to stand over one, or Eriksen in his early seasons (he simply doesn't score direct ones any longer) so maybe I'm a little biased as I always feel like it's worth keeping one around in the squad if you have it.

You don't really have one at the moment do you? I know TAA is decent at them and Salah scored a great one for Egypt, but nobody who really scores them consistently. Coutinho and Suarez used to bang them in pretty regularly.

How do the likes of Cook still start in this league?
It's a real issue for Bournemouth. Some great forwards and a decent enough midfield, but their fullbacks and centre backs (aside from Ake) all wouldn't look out of place at championship level. Keeper options are a bit poo as well.
