It's back!

Friday 10th

20h00 Manchester United - Leicester

Saturday 11th

12h30 Newcastle - Tottenham

15h00 Huddersfield v Chelsea
15h00 Bournemouth v Cardiff
15h00 Watford v Brighton
15h00 Fulham v Crystal Palace

18h30 Wolves v Everton

Sunday 12th

13h30 Southampton v Burnley

Immediately an exciting weekend with several interesting games imo. I'm happy to see Wolves and Fulham back in the Premier League and looking forward to see how they do with all their new players. Hopefully City drop some points at the Emirates but can't see it happening tbh.

I need to post in the "Strange feelings of football" thread that it feels like United and/or Leicester have the first game of the season every year.

Will miss the game. I think we'll start this season off slowly either way. No 4-0 wins this August.

Mad to think last year we got through 3 games in August scoring 10 and not conceding.

Hopefully Fulham and Wolves bring some excitement and competitiveness to the PL.

Friday 10th
Manchester United - Leicester - 2-0, solid start for United.

Saturday 11th
Newcastle - Tottenham - 0-1, as above for Spurs.
Huddersfield v Chelsea - 1-3, and another.
Bournemouth v Cardiff - 1-0
Watford v Brighton - 2-1
Fulham v Crystal Palace - 1-1
Wolves v Everton - 0-0

Sunday 12th
Southampton v Burnley - 1-0
Liverpool v West Ham - 4-1, Pellers will play as Pellers teams do, Liverpool will score quite easily.
Arsenal v City - 2-1 - Yeah, I'm predicting us to narrowly lose this one. Arsenal at home, new manager, new team, a lot to prove, just see them raising their game to stupid levels.

United will get a 2-0 win or something. Decent line up from them.

Looks like Gray is going to have Darmian on toast tonight. Will keep an eye on him this season, always looked a talent.

Leicester have got a few decent young English players. Chilwell, Maddison and Gray the most notable, hopefully Puel can do well for them as they all play in positions England are lacking quality in.

Bit weird really, he was very good for United at first, and was very good for Torino. Has looked utterly inept whenever he gets to play these days.
He was good, and I'm not exaggerating here, for three games at the start.

He's been stealing a living ever since.

Yeah, I seem to remember him having a good start and United fans being convinced you'd got a gem of a right back, but then it all going downhill pretty quickly from there. Maybe he's just not suited to the league/hasn't settled in?

Just seen another replay and it appears I was wrong, 'twas a penalty. Thought it had just been flicked on to his hand with him none the wiser, but he moves his arm toward it .. fair's fair.

This'll end up 4-0 like when United started on fire last season. Leicester will be finished by the 75th minute.

Be interesting to see the stats from this. Doesn't feel like United have had many shots.

Don't think they have to be fair. Been a bit of a 'meh' opening game from them, but I imagine the majority will take it given missing players etc .. result is all that matters here. Leicester look similar to last season to me, a possession team but lacking in much creativity so it can look seriously blunt at times. Especially now without the moments of magic from Mahrez.
