Worked on their weakness eg their defence. They were great going forwards last season also. You have to take your hat off to the coaching staff their.
With the difference of they at least were great going forward at the start of last season...
Not great reading though. Van Dijk has been massive for them. Arguably as good as any center back in the world IMO and definitely the standout in the premier league.
The balance is off when two of Henderson and Milner are in there together. Thankfully that shouldn’t be the case today, but both lallana and Shaqiri are more reliable creators. I rate Milner but I feel like our best midfield will eventually outgrow both him and Henderson. He’s been superb nonetheless for a long time now though.
Absolutely gone in different directions but it also shows it doesn't take long to fix your defence. They were already scoring lots of goals last year unlike us now. That's the difference.
Hopefully Arsenal can beat Liverpool.

Just an extra £130m to spend on 2 players.
They signed a new GK, they signed the best CB in the league. They have a young RB who has come from the youth system. Robertson has also developed. But of course it's not just about signing players, it's the coaching, the system, the drilling of positions.
They started last season with Moreno, Robertson has had as big an effect on this as VVD in my opinion
