The injuries are outside of their control but this is a bad performance from Spurs. You can talk about styles and what people prefer to watch but this has been dismal even on Jose's terms. He'll be furious at the lack of workrate and the poor defensive play.

If they lose here they'll be down to 6th if Man. United win and Chelsea tomorrow. This Mourinho "miracle" narrative dosen't work as that's where they finish last season and lower than 4 out of 5 Poch seasons.

I suspect he'll go all in and gamble everything on europa league like he did with Man. United in 16/17.
TBF they should be winning a pot. The Carabao whatsit is written in the stars.

But gulf on Wednesday was all to see. Spurs played like an side in form, Liverpool looked like a side that could go the distance in the league.

as usual - if son and kane don't turn up Tottenham wont win.

They have to score first otherwise joses tactics don't work. they wont be near the top come the end.

Aurier ignoring Winks and heading straight down the tunnel. From where he should be escorted to the Championship.

Completely collapsing after bottling a game that would have kept them in title challenge is so Spurs though. They'll never change.

Have Man United only named 7 subs (they are allowed 9) as some sort of protest?

Why wouldn't they stick a 3rd goalie on there just in case, rather than nobody.
we've named 9?

Has the rule changed?! Weird that we haven’t if that’s the case.

Yeah they can win the league cup. I'd make them favourites tbh as they have no problem beating Man. City anymore and they're probably seen as favourites given their record in last few seasons.

Would a league cup really have Kane signing on for another 5 years though as much as it would be good for them to get the trophy jinx off their backs. Guy is in his peak years now and simply has to be playing CL football at very least so I'd say europa is far more important.

No good Spurs winning league cup and finishing 6th or 7th so I can see Poch's argument when he was saying that two years ago. They pretty much did that under Ramos in 07/08. Berbatov and Robbie Keane then left and they were bottom of the league six months later.

For some reason websites like soccerway haven't listed van de Beek and Greenwood but they are named on the official tweet as subs

losing one game is not the end of the road for Jose, but you do have to wonder what on Earth they do if they have to chase a game like this

If I had to choose between Leicester and Spurs to make the top four it’s clearly Leicester. But we’ve got a problem, mates. We need both of them to drop out, unless we really believe Chelsea will bottle it.

Watch most of the Spurs fans disappear off the forum now.
I feel most of them post (level headedly as well) even if they lose. Not Glaston that absolute maniac though. Does nothing but spout absolute crap whenever they win and disappears whenever they lose.

Spurs are the most likely to drop out I feel.
