It's a pen by letter of law but he's obviously looking for it, he's obviously going down.

Tough call. Doubt Ali will face any retrospective action though.

Tough game for Burnley now, as their whole get 1-0 up and hold on plan is out the window.

16 goals scored in 18 games, dreadful stuff.

Burnley's strikers are Wood, Barnes and Vokes.

Aren't they all pretty much the same player?

Alli was going down before any contact was made. Diving cheating nasty wanker. But, hey, he was just being clever, right?

The most hated player in the Premier League by quite a distance, and not in the Ronaldo-way because of greatness, but because he is the perfect trifecta of dirtbag. He dives like a fool, he tries to injure players and he always complains to the referee - as well as creating aggressive situations with other players.

He shouldn’t have played today due a missing red card against City and he should have been given a yellow and then red card for diving today. Absolute vile human-being... you wonder about his prospects if he wasn’t a footballer.

Irrational.

I find that terribly offensive. I've owned many bricks and I'm pretty sure all could score higher than Hartson.

With Jenas and Gerrard in the studio. It's like having the Nobel Peace prize discussed by Nigel Farage, Kim Jong Un and Donad Trump.

Amazing the lengths they're going to justify the Alli dive and subsequent penalty.

And yet we're on trend to finish with the type of goalscoring tally that SAFs teams had (yeah yeah numbers dont count its how you feel).

This place is getting ridiculous, far too many acting like jealous teenage girls.
Can see who is acting like a teenager.

Calling pep better than Jose this season somehow is anti United.

Calling city's football better is anti united. Saying city have sorted out their issues is somehow supporting city.

While giving excuses about the shoddy attacking style of united is top red stuff. Carry on.

Literally everyone acknowledges that Pep is having a better season than Jose. But if you dare speak positively about Jose then you are hounded out because we're not playing like City.

Gerrard was always going to stick up for Alli, as he made a career out of swan diving
