As bad as we are and have been this season, we can get fifth position. We just need to get our finger out ASAP.

Weren't people proclaiming Vicario as this world class keeper earlier in the season?

Very poor for that goal, was actually behind the goalline when the header came across.

Yeah, terrible today and cost them.

Jarrad Branthwaite is such an important player for Everton, fully expecting him to leave for a better club for around 50m pounds this or following summer. If it's an English team he goes to, the pricetag will be even higher
Talk Real Madrid are looking at him as Ancelotti gave him his debut in 2020.

My mate’s a Spurs fan and I’ve been hearing this all season, he also proclaimed Lloris was the best keeper in the league for about 10 years and all.

Winning three of our next four seems doable in theory, if we can keep some continuity in the line-up get some momentum. West Ham and Fulham at home, and Luton away are winnable games. Aston Villa away will be more of a challenge. Given our history this season, winning three out of four is a bit of a pipe dream, but that's what we need to move up the table.

65-70 points will be the range for 4th and 5th so you're certainly going to need a 4-5 match winning run to be seriously in contention.

Win tomorrow and we're six points behind Spurs (ok 7 points with our goal difference). That's not insurmountable.

Enough time left in the season for them to have a mini collapse to let us by and then for us to do the same.

It's not Spurs we're chasing but Villa who are much more likely to drop off.

The consistency in refereeing is a joke. I mean, exactly why isn't Adebayo booked for shooting the ball three seconds after the whistle? Everyone sees it and yet the ref lets it slide. At what point do they face any consequences for picking and choosing when to apply the laws of the game? If the laws of the game don't matter, why are they even there making money ignoring the laws whenever they please?

Dubravka fell for the same move twice and Burn must be the slowest fullback in PL history.

If the first contact of foul was outside the box, surely it doesn't matter it continued into the box? First contact is the foul, no?

Or has that changed?

Fair play Luton. They are no mugs in this league.
