We need to cheat more. Aside from Bruno, we're terrible at the dark arts.
There was me the other day saying you lot often get the brown end of the VAR stick, but that one today was incredible!Better 2nd half and probably deserved the win in the end, but we're in poor form in the league and we were silly lucky with the handball.
Having the kind of ref/VAR luck Liverpool had a couple of seasons ago.
In general I feel we do, but we have to say we've got a ton of 50/50's go our way lately and today was more like a 99.9/0.1 and the 0.1 came through. I'd be furious if that happened against us and I'm normally lenient with our unlucky decisions. There was me the other day saying you lot often get the brown end of the VAR stick, but that one today was incredible!
We get as many against us as we don’t. City can probably say the same. Everyone likes to think referees are out to get them then puts the reason for the success of teams above them as down to external influences and corruption.Liverpool fan furious that another team gets the same luck they have had the last few seasons.
*Insert Spider-Man pointing meme*
Why dont you then explain how city got penalty against wolves for handball when ball hit wolves player in armpit?Handball is generally judged on where the end of the sleeve (normal sized sleeve is), I think VAR looked at the ball hitting Rodri on the sleeve and took it as shoulder first when the sleeve is an inch or two longer than it should be and further down the arm. Terrible decision.
Elbow is not part of the rule, shoulder is and thats where the seem of the shirt lies.It appeared to be above the elbow, that’s what the law mentions, not a t shirt line which may vary.
You have to get rid, honestly. Push the red button and get in a relegation specialist manager just to stay up. Sort out the longer term plan next seasonI hope that Lampard goes fecking mental
Nice to see a reasonable and level headed reply to bad ref decisionsWe get as many against us as we don’t. City can probably say the same. Everyone likes to think referees are out to get them then puts the reason for the success of teams above them as down to external influences and corruption.
That decision today was ridiculous but City have had decisions go against them at times. We can say the same.
To be honest, if it stops Liverpool winning the league, I wouldn't care if your dodgy owners drove on in a car, and stampeded the ball into the net.In general I feel we do, but we have to say we've got a ton of 50/50's go our way lately and today was more like a 99.9/0.1 and the 0.1 came through. I feel even worse about the lockdown feelings of "is she actually quite fit in the right light".Karen Carney looks like Joe Cole.
Me neitherTo be honest, if it stops Liverpool winning the league, I wouldn't care if your dodgy owners drove on in a car, and stampeded the ball into the net.
Best VAR decision evenI thought it was a penalty until I realized that Liverpool could close the gap to 1 point.
Correct VAR decision.

Would actually be amazing if they got relegated but can't see itCould Fat Frank take a struggling Everton side and relegate them?
It’s not that inconceivable…Would actually be amazing if they got relegated but can't see it

I personally don’t see Lampard as a problem or another manager as a solution. We are just bad as a club currently. We have looked good in the home games though and nobody believed we would beat City today and we have had an opportunity to at least draw snatched away by disgraceful refereeing. Lampard has improved a lot on what we were under Benitez but I fear it may be too late. You have to get rid, honestly. Push the red button and get in a relegation specialist manager just to stay up. You have some strong players and a good squad, all you really need is a bit of luck and some momentum. You've got a rotten fixture set though so could do with it soon. You got screwed today if the pen wasn't ruled out for offside which is up in the air right now. Momentum is a weird thing though and you really need to turn it around quick. The Newcastle, Watford, West Ham run seems to be your best chance of picking up momentum and pulling away if those 3 games go poorly (less than 6 points, you are in serious bother)I personally don’t see Lampard as a problem or another manager as a solution. You mean the penalty I said wasn't a penalty at the time on this forum, that one?Why dont you then explain how city got penalty against wolves for handball when ball hit wolves player in armpit?
