With decisions like that and the inconsistencies in the penalty calls yesterday, you might as well just VAR for offsides and have it automated, cos it's the same clown referees watching the videos that are missing it on the pitch week in, week out.

Yes this is what I thought. Throw ins, offside calls, corner kick calls can all be automated without issues. It’ll improve accuracy and avoid controversies.
Still we may need referees on the lines to see fouls and normal tackles. Because every tackle in slow motion will look deadly.
