Ref seems terrified of making a big decision
Because they’re not United. Why are all top teams apart from United getting VAR decisions left right and center?
To be fair he thought Havertz should have been off and thought Brighton's goalie should have gone yesterday. So annoying how BT employ Peter Walton to tell us he agrees with every terrible ref decision
Showed Harry how its doneWhat the feck did Rudiger do there?
Do they have any spare?Ref might as well just put on a Chelsea shirt.
It has, VAR should be independent of the referees. They just cover each others backs at the moment. It was supposed to improve refereeing but all VAR has done is highlight how useless our referees are.
Can't affordDo they have any spare?
They're new to the brown envelope business, to be fairCan someone explain why Newcastle didn't get a penalty?
ffsDo they have any spare?
Thought the same thing as soon as I clapped eyes on him earlier. That ref looks like such a meek little twat.
He could borrow one off a fan.
The problem is, as Carragher highlighted, there seems to be this determination to ask if there is ‘enough evidence’ to show its a ‘clear and obvious error’. That’s nonsense and over complicating things. If it’s a penalty, it’s a penalty. Whatever the ref has given should be irrelevant. It was supposed to improve refereeing but all VAR has done is highlight how useless our referees are.
Should be at least one penalty here.
Just a typical Chelsea game then reallyThis is about as one-sided a refereeing performance as I've ever seen.
The only saving grace they have is games in hand, but we all said that about Burnley as well. You have to win those game though and they don't look like they can buy a win.Watford currently on same points as Everton
