Postecoglu needs a front 3. His front 3 don’t suit his tactics at all but he’s somehow got them playing okay.

None of them are scoring though, it’s all their midfield and defence who have scored.
I'm not really familiar with his tactics. What type of forwards does he like?

It's also about recruitment, spurs midfield three looks more balanced than ours despite costing a fraction of what we have spent and the players probably on a quarter of the wages
It also took Sarr and Bissouma two different coaches and more than a season to settle in the first team

True but last season was clearly a caf crash for spurs, now they have a more clearly defined system they seem to be doing well. Sarr is also young

His wife players are generally quick and provide a goal threat. Son would meet the goal threat criteria but he seems to have lost pace.

Kulusevski certainly doesn’t meet that criteria and looks really sluggish in this system.

His strikers are generally intense pressing, like to play in behind and good in front of goal. Kyogo was a prime example of this. Richarlison is certainly not. He never scores.

Can't shake the feeling that Maddison is a complete dick. Even the way he celebrates screams 'nob' and he walks with the swagger of someone getting a blow job on his way to receive an Oscar.

Spurs don't seem to get caught out as much as I thought they might with a back four and fullbacks who are naturally wingbacks.
Having Sarr and Bissouma as the holding midfielders must help with this, but then you see them get so far forward/playing high up the pitch. Really weird/annoyingly effective from what I've seen so far this season.

You implying ETH doesn't do coaching nor has a vision ?
He does but maybe it's based on Total Football, a style of play that has no history of success in English football and won't go down well in the Premier League. We might have another good run in Europe though, and we'll have a left-footed, left-sided centre back, which apparently is dead important.

Kulusevski is such a liability, and Richarlison just isn't very good either.

A real shame to see Australia's Ange Postecoglou, who is a genius, being let down by having such mediocrities in his front three but he's got them playing bloody well. Should be 3 up by now.

Was injured for long spells at Fulham but scored some nice goals in the run in. Decent squad option off the bench when games become more end to end in the last 20 minutes.

I actually wouldn't say Ange has done anything revolutionised at Spurs. He's just stopped playing a liability like Eric Dier who I don't think has even made the bench under him.

People also used to fawn over Hojbjerg on here but I always thought he was a bit limited and seems Postacoglu dosen't believe he can move the ball quickly enough for his system.

Ironically enough he'd probably be an o.k pick up for Man. United given the CM issues.

...for Best Make Up. You know he spends more time in front of a mirror than a hypochondriac looking for moles.

Maddison looking a lot like the exciting player from a while back.
Still can't understand why Erik thought Mount was a better signing than him. He just had that bit of swagger to play for Utd

It wasn't a choice between Mount and Maddison, it was a choice between Maddison and Bruno. It would have been a pointless signing.

Thanks.

You say Richarlison never scores, but having looked at his stats, he's scored 10+ goals in the EPL in the last three seasons, which as a wide forward, isn't too bad. Maybe he'd suit the wide role under Postecoglu more so than the striker role.

Bournemouth have created decent chances , Spurs have about 5 players in midfield when in possession but can be taken on out wide

Bournemouth are awful and will go down this season. Spurs will get hammered playing like they do against the top sides, but they might make top 6 if they are lucky.

Bournemouth have been so overrated this season and I've no idea why. Think they're at major risk of being relegated

If Spurs add a striker and another right winger they would only need a back up centre back and they really will have a decent squad.
