It's time to resurrect that thread. "David Luiz is better than Zidane".

How has Luiz managed to play at this level for so long. His spells of actually being good have been minimal throughout that time, and at his worst he is a massive liability. He's still pulling the same shite he did when he first joined Chelsea.

No, awkward bounces catch players out at the top level literally all the time.
And strikers miss sitters all the time too. Just because it happens frequently doesn't mean it's not a feck up.

Just in case anyone missed it. I don't like Mount.

Are Arsenal the only team that can lose both centre backs and it makes their defence better?

I feel for Arteta, he's trying to move the club on from the likes of Luiz and Ozil yet the former finds a way to ruin the game for his team.

Mustafi crocked now as well. Do they even have a single centre half left in the squad now?

Luiz lasted less than 30 mins. In that period his contribution was:

- Assist the opener for Sterling
- Give away a penalty which results in City’s 2nd goal
- Get sent off

Of course it’s a feck up, it’s just not one reserved for Sunday League level. The ball bounced up at Luiz at waist height, at speed, and he HAD to play it. There was no way he was either kicking or heading it. Was more bad luck than anything, although has himself to blame for second goal.

He was never been this bad for us, well certainly not consistently anyway.

With us he was wildly inconsistent and phrone to too errors but he never had full games like this one and what he had at Anfield, ever!
