Spurs look like they’re in pre-season already.

They’ll 100% roll over for City next week.

Salah always find himself completely free… Spurs defend worse than us… you wonder what kind of work they do during the week.

Let Chelsea have that and the fact they can only spend 80% of this years turnover on transfers, Agent Fees, Amortised transfer and wages. Last year they were on about £505m revenue with a CL 1/4 final run. This year no Europe, they cant be higher than £450m and 80% of that would be £360m no wonder they were actually investigating the idea of asking UEFA to not participate next season, it really wouldn’t be worthwhile. Last season alone their wages accounted for 79% of revenue and £398m, this years accounts won’t include Tuchel and Potters pay offs but fir what they would get back in revenue and new financial restrictions it seems untenable for Chelsea to play in European Conference League, they must be thinking if they post 62 points, hopefully Newcastle and United draw against each other and drop points in other games so they come 6th.

Some school boy errors

90% in 23/24 not 80%

That 90% which yes is reducing year on year will include wages ( squad) and sums re amortisation and whilst I am not totally sure my understanding is that agents fees are like transfer fees amortised over the term of the contract so as they are shown in the overall amortisation costs aren’t added in twice

The best estimates I have seen is that circa 70% of the total wage bill is attributable to squad costs.

Even then bottom line number in the accounts isn’t the number used .

Spurs are playing poorly, but some of the decisions are pure Anfield.

Johnson just smashed it against the full back - Liverpool throw.
Kulu nipped the ball off someone, was fouled and Liverpool corner etc.

Liverpool get every decision from the referee, it’s maddening.

Thank goodness we're not watching this needing Liverpool to drop points.
Would be an astoundingly stressy watch. And absolutely no chance of it happening.

Really astonishing, the Brighton win over Villa should have boosted them.
Villa 36 games, 67 points
Spurs 35 games, 60 points ( so far)
Let's say they win today, 63 points, win game in hand, 66 pts. Only 1 point away, 2 games to play. It is possible to get to 4th.
They have to play Burnley and City home, Sheffield Utd away.
Villa will play Liverpool home, CP away.

I think they don't care anymore.

If you’re a winger that’s being shut down by Trent it’s probably time to hang it up

Gakpo is shit... unless you just keep showing him inside onto his right foot and let him do what he wants.

So naturally, Spurs have decided to defend him like that.

Could do with punishing how poor Spurs have been. At 1-0 I never trust this lot to keep a clean sheet.

Big fan of Quansah.
