This place really cursed Eddie Howe.

Curious to see if De Zerbi and Postecoglou will fall victim to the Caf curse

Don't worry Newcastle fans. You still have the "we beat Manchester Utd at home" trophy.

Genuinely surprised by how shite Newcastle have been. Hopefully that fecking Saudi kit becomes cursed and they get stuffed whenever they play in it.

Newarabia had been very soft in the middle and having Burn at CB isn't a coincidence.

Spill by Pope for the first, Burn not closing down space nor the man from a great strike in the middle of the pitch, then again no aggressive marking or closing down for the 3rd.

Can't win the league or trophies without spending. Leicester did it in an amazing season but let's not kid ourselves. If United play "shit on stick football" but win trophies or the league, who cares. They did it at the end of the Fergie Era.

Newarabia is melting down and crap defending.
There's no question they play nice football throughout the pitch, but they've had a lot of continuity across their player development and style and principles. Been a lot of years before they began to see things click just to get to where they could do it.

That patience isn't afforded to traditional top clubs.

Glad Newarabia is getting spanked today, Burn is having a mare.
Newarabia playing with fire at the back, they're gonna pay sooner or later.
Enough of the supid nickname please. That's a particularly lame one.

Brighton is a fantastic team with so many talented players. It is going to be a difficult game, when they visit us soon.

Likewise. 3 losses in a row now and even though they’ve been against really good teams, this will probably be Howe’s biggest test so far. Gotta get a bit of momentum going and the players will be down after this

It must be concerning to Harvey Barnes that he appears to have moved to the new, er... Leicester.

If you can match their intensity, their lack of talent in the team shows. Once CL starts, it will get even tougher for them

Ferguson will get the plaudits, but for me van Hecke has looked absolutely world clsss at the back today for Brighton. Completely shut down Isak and has been really composed in possession. Not put a foot wrong.

Newcastle about to have a flop season? There's not much room for error for Howe given that they're owned by the most ruthless bastards on the planet. He'll be gone soon.

In a difficult group as well. They will either bow out in a humiliating way or land in the EL and Thursday night football which will be even worse for them.
