These games make it glaringly obvious how much we need a reliable striker. Not to mention no Pedro today is a big miss for us.

They also have Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho. We have Pogba and erm... Fellaini.
Still think if we wanted to a midfield of Herrera, Pogba and Matic is extremely balanced. But ho hey, Fellaini.

I can't be bothered to look it up, but we're definitely more likely to lose matches the big Tree starts in midfield. Even this season we've dropped points in what, most matches he's started? But some fans still just like to see his effort.

We're the better team, Chelsea are ahead. Some of the players need to get rid of the rust in the final third. Didn't even realise Hazard and Giroud were playing after the goal until I saw them walk off at half time.

Haha imagine Fellaini, smalling, Valencia, young under Bielsa... If he can get them playing well that would be genuine magic.
Or play Pogba Fred Herrera Perrera Martial Sanchez Who all wouod thrive in Klopp/Sarri/Pep system.

Its about how you see it

Sick of the sight of Hazard against us.

We’re the better team though, let’s see how it pans out.

Winning a title > getting the best out of Hazard but if Sarri can do both then no doubt they've landed the perfect manager.
Also a point to consider is how both Mourinho and Conte collapsed the season after. Players didn't enjoy playing for them and just stopped eventually. Playing under an attack minded manager tends to be more sustainable in terms of keeping players happy and motivated.

That little space just in front of Luiz is the big worry. Salah is getting the ball there over and over again. Need the midfielders to help more.

This game is also the perfect illustration of why Luiz is so important. People question why he's in the team but you can see exactly why here. His passing vision is the best amongst any CB in the league. Liability defensively but so dangerous on the ball.

Klopp won't like the likes of Pogba in his team for obvious reasons. He'll love Fred and Herrera though.

For me personally he's shown too many times for club and country that his defensive mistakes are too common and too costly. Against defensive sides I'd have Luiz in there, but against really attacking sides I'd rather have someone stronger defensively even if they're not as good on the ball.

Some of the one touch stuff in midfield is incredible. And risky. Jose would have coached that straight out of them, back to the CB, back to the keeper, lose the long ball.

It's obvious that one team's had an advantage of building their playing style for three years while the other only three months.

It's a pity Pedro is missing out, we need his speed and energy upfront.

Salah can't get anything right, overhitting everything. He is active, but lacks execution and wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea score another.

Oh yeah agreed. I have no doubt we have the players to play similar, if not as good.

Saw a Chelsea that had no problems having 11 players behind the ball in their own half, Liverpool being slightly better but getting hurt by a beautiful counter goal.

Are the Scouse fans forgetting that Willian chance that he hit at the keeper?

Chelsea have had two great chances and scored one.

Definitely missing Pedro. He has a left foot and his movement is better than Willians. I reckon he would have scored that chance Willian had. Willian's control for that was disappointing.

Seeing the two sides play football which United used to be so good at makes me sick. How awful we have been is further highlighted by the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.

Glad we’ll probably only have to face Hazard once more this season.

If there's any karma Van Dijk and mane will both get sent off for being snide
And for Liverpool to win the league by a clear 9 points, only to have 10 points deducted shortly after, thus stripping them of their title.

Reason for the points deduction? None whatsoever. The FA are just corrupt.

That's nonsense, we have pogba, Fred and Matic. Is not anybody's fault if the manager cant get them playing constructively.

Luiz is such an elegant player. Lovely to watch at the back. He isn't perfect defensively, but when he's on, he is a pleasure to behold.

We're playing well but like others have said, our front 3 are really struggling. I feel that Salah is trying to desperately play his way into form and the more he tries, the worse it gets.

What about Milner, Wijnaldum and Henderson? Think they are so much better than our mf? All this trying to justify why we are when the answer is staring everyone in the face is hilarious.

Got to say Sarri has done a brilliant job, chelsea are contenders for the title.

Hoping we come out fast here and get an early equaliser.

You have to admire how Sarri changed things so quickly at Chelsea.
#JoseOut
It's Chelsea.
They are built on sand, so seem to be able to change everything, and succeed immediately. It wouldn't work for us, as we've seen this last 6 years!
