The only slight good thing was I've left my fantasy captaincy on Salah all season so at least he's getting me points...
Funny that, because he’s been great for us whenever he’s been fit. Yes like the rest of our defenders his level went up when VVD came in but that also coincided with him approaching peak years.I'm going to second @stefan92 in this as I don't think anyone following Bundesliga, apart maybe from Matip's family, would have ever considered him a player that would be even nearly good enough to start in a world class team, winning the PL or CL. In fact, I still struggle to believe it and will treat it as some kind of fluke.
I mean, he's the one player even Schalke fans didn't particularly mind losing on a free.
The have a great manager who knows how to get the most out of his squad.Man, Liverpool are different gravy aren't they?
It genuinely was that bad over the course of 90 mins. Surprised they didn’t hook him.Ouch. On Norwegian TV they're calling it one of the weakest individual defensive performances in the history of the premier league.
You should, very moreish though.Must try it.
I know, he's been stunningly consistent.Funny that, because he’s been great for us whenever he’s been fit. Yes like the rest of our defenders his level went up when VVD came in but that also coincided with him approaching peak years.
It just wasn’t like he was ever bad, he had games early on where he was bullied but that almost never happens now and his aerial ability has come on leaps and bounds. He was the best defender at the club instantly (rest of them weren’t great shakes admittedly)
Goes to show a manager knowing a players strengths and how he fits in his system is vitally important.
Nah we’ll beat Watford. The problem is we’ll make it look like an almighty struggle and it’ll be on a knife edge the whole game as we win by a one goal difference.Watford will beat United
This was the case before kick off to be honest.Danny Rose had nothing left in the tank.
Klopp is the best manager in the world atm. That OGS isn't as good as him is no slight on Ole.I am so fed up with pro ole fans making every excuse under the sun for our performances and results under ole when klopp is able to make liverpool put in great performances and results with the likes of matip and Milner in their first 11, if those players were in our side they would be scapegoats for every bad result under ole.
Totally agree. It's feckin weird. It can't be healthy for Man United fans to keep re-routing everything that happens in other games to Man United, especially in the form of constant self-flagellation.
At some point, other teams winning football games will have to be something you just register as normal, not as a trigger.
That Liverpool managed to beat this sorry excuse of a team should not result in any argument about your club, it's not like you never win any games.
A section of our fans were just as bad after it became clear Lampard wasn't the man for the job and let's not get started on some Arsenal fans and their excuses for Arteta.Nah we’ll beat Watford. The problem is we’ll make it look like an almighty struggle and it’ll be on a knife edge the whole game as we win by a one goal difference.
Then people will say “Glad we won but holy shit we make it look so hard. I worry this happens way too much”
And then someone will reply “We won. Shut the feck up. Get out of here with your Oleoutter agenda”
And the cycle continues
It's a United forum first and foremost. That is why the majority of football discussions tend to focus on United sooner or later. It can't be healthy for Man United fans to keep re-routing everything that happens in other games to Man United, especially in the form of constant self-flagellation.

Most threads are polarised now (bit like society I guess), no shades of grey.Nah we’ll beat Watford. The problem is we’ll make it look like an almighty struggle and it’ll be on a knife edge the whole game as we win by a one goal difference.

Yeah. He was off the ground but kind of pulled out mid challenge. Not sure it’s a red personally.Anyone see the Laporte tackle?
On loan from Chelsea apparently.Broja gives Southampton lead against Leeds.
There's a surprise.On loan from Chelsea apparently.
He was on loan at Vitesse last season. There's a surprise.
