This is going to get quite brutal soon I think. I've tried to be conservative with my blocks so far and I'm already having to chalk off prospective picks.

we should be fine by picks 7-8 I think, despite me already crossing off some of the best clubs in the respective countries (not that fussed about nationalities).

Although it's impossible to predict most of the picks, expected KdB to last couple of rounds more at least but the pull might be too good in terms of little blocks that he creates.

I doubt it. To be fair he's a bit of a victim of his lifestyle — most articles talking about him focus on his playboy-ish persona, alcohol, women, Western influences and the eventual tragic passing (and the tea-set from Elisabeth the II, of course; Jesus, how old is she!). Plus, Torpedo doesn't have that many fans & their whole era is still defined by a certain controversial striker first and foremost, so Voronin also gets overshadowed there. It's a bit weird since he had shined the brightest at the biggest stage possible.

xtraimmortal have him as the 2nd best Soviet midfielder & 33th on the overall list of defensive & central midfielders ahead of some big names.

I am considering a couple of Bepo's fantasies as it happens. Yep, as well as just rating him so highly, De Bruyne was just really appealing in terms of not having played for any of the traditional super clubs, plus I had no idea what I was doing in terms of formation and now he's given me a viable structure to build towards. Chelsea is turning out to be a really annoying club to have blocked though, surprisingly enough. I tend to underestimate how many class players have rocked up there at some time or other.

Thanks mate, appreciate it! It’s hard to find the line between getting the really top class players and making sure you don’t block yourself into a corner, but geuninely believe I have 4 absolutely world class players so far.
