I’ve just walked passed Lou Macari’s chip shop and there’s nobody here. Have I got the wrong day?
I saw some videos but turns out the videos were from last year. Apparently the protests today are a flop.

I could never protest against Ole. I have a ST and go regularly. It would be damn shameful to boo a man that has steered us in the right direction and helped contribute greatly to 99.

Yes Ole should probably leave now, but to boo the man because he's had a bad start is disgraceful and shows an utter lack of respect for what good he's done at the club.

Boo and protest the glazers all you want but I could never do that to Ole, he deserves to bow out with some dignity at the very least.
What if he doesn't want to bow out at all and the Glazers are fine to not let him go till the season has completely gone down the drains? Would you still clap him off every game?

United fans aren't going to protest Ole no matter how out of his depth he is.

Kind of ironic that those who call Ole the worst ever at organizing teams, failed this miserably in organizing this stupid protest

There are loads on here that want Ole gone that said they wouldn't support or attend a protest but yeah ignore that.

How is this related to my point around saying that the protest - right from the start to its execution - was stupid and there was no way of getting sufficient people for this protest?

The thing with these protest is that there not consistent…. We protested last time and then they go and splash the cash and buy the players that Solskjær wanted… all the fans was excited and expecting a title challenge but because that’s not going to happen the protest restart? People are just gonna say our fan base are babies and protest when things aren’t going our way! If we’re gonna do it then it needs to be regular, not just when things are looking bad!

Looks like a few dozen turned up with a Glazers Out banner and managed to get the Megastore closed 2 hours early.

Wonder if a couple of consecutive defeats before the Arsenal game could get enough people out to blockade the Arsenal game. That'd certainly cause a stir.

I can only express my absolute shock this turned out to be a bunch of bellends and had no substance. Who would have thought it.

This is the problem when Fans live in a echo chamber of Redcafe and Twitter, and confuse it with real life, embarrassing stuff today to be honest

Look at that grey haired cnut in the middle. Go home to your wife and slip her the dick for once. Unforgivable feckery at his age.

I understand little ones loitering about but what fecking excuse does that man have?

All protests about football are pretty sad, including the one last season.

The protest before the Liverpool game last season showed the enormous voice the support has.

Nobody was ever going to go today. Just a few butthurt because we are shit at the moment. When there’s a grown up reason to protest, they’ll roar again

Oh, absolutely. The fact that this was started as an OleOut protest meant it was never going to be more than what it was. Protests work, but like you say, there needs to be a reason to protest. Not just because we’ve lost a few games.

Genuinely shocked that any of them actually managed to find Old Trafford.

Exactly. And it’s legitimate to protest against the Glazers who showed they didn’t care about the supporters or have the clubs best interests at heart during the Super League fiasco.

I doubt anyone with sense would have the opinion that Ole doesn’t have the clubs interests at heart. He’s just struggling in his job.

A lot of football clubs are huge parts of the local community, and give 1,000s of people a reason to feel connected and even have reason to be alive.
Some owners come in and risk wrecking that, simply trying to asset strip the club and make a quick profit.

While United are strong enough to cope with the Glazers behaviour, there's many recent examples, such as Bury, of a rogue owner ripping the heart out of a community.

So while you may sneer at protests as "sad", football clubs do matter to quite a few people.

What a lack of Ultras can do to a football club. This is embarrassing.
I’m sorry if this is condescending, but do you not understand where this originated from and why that was the turnout?

As a season ticket holder myself I couldn’t agree with you any more.

Ole is a legend and always will be but it doesn’t take a genius to work out he’s taken us as far as he can. I’m fairly confident the club are working on a replacement but it may take time. I’d rather us get the right man than rush and get the wrong one.

No I haven't followed who organized this crap. I do know though that at other clubs the behavior of our board after recent results would lead to more than this embarrassing showing.

Why did those clowns think it was going to be anything other than a wash out? They have literally made us an even bigger laughing stock than before.

Why does it matter who organised this? It's an embarrassing showing that's all that matters. For what this board is doing right now a proper and better organised protest would be more than justified. They are letting the football go to crap, the fanbase to split, the legacy of a player legend go to shit who's overwhelmed with the job at hand. That's why I mentioned Ultras. For all the negative they bring they would let the board now in a proper way. Our fanbase is way too nice, always has been.
