I'm not saying they have anything to do with the security of the RM bus and they shouldn't. I'm just saying that according to AS and L'Equipe a PSG official asked police to not provide Madrid with the usual police escort. That would then be something I'd consider as pathetic.
Or, a crazy fan who pretended to work for PSG asked for that and got swiftly hung up on. But yes, let's make headlines out of that.

They won't. Despite what Duncan Castles and other Mourinho apologists in media have been saying, Jose has never been on PSG's radar.
 Eh? Pretty much all the press were saying PSG were interested in him, it's nothing to do with "Mourinho apologists", if anything a lot of them can't stand him and were trying to destabilise things.

Really odd the things people put down to fanboi behaviour.

:houllier::lol:

You're completely wrong, "real" press in French media whether it's L'Equipe, RMC or Le Parisien have been busy discussing the next PSG manager for weeks. Jose has always been overlooked by them.

I'm not talking about the french press, I'm saying there was a big spread of English press reporting it, it wasn't just "Mourinho apologists" as you put. I just find it a bit weird that you're suggesting that linking Mourinho to the PSG job is something a "Mourinho apologist" would gain from.

To be honest no one serious in France has linked Mourinho to PSG since maybe 2011 or 2012, since then the talk is that someone like him doesn't fit the profile that they want. The rumor is mainly british.

Imagine if journalists actually reported what they knew instead of just posting shite riddles?

It's not a quiz just a badly and slightly misleading chain of tweets. Basically, they are in negotiation with someone and that someone isn't free and he won't come from PSG's italian connections, that's the actual information.

I think Mauricio Pochettino is nailed to be the next manager of PSG. That means Spurs will have to look for a new manager soon.

They want the Champions League I doubt they’ll chose Poch at this stage.

My outside bet would be Zidane. French connection and probably leaving Madrid unless he delivers 3 in a row.

I dont think that Zidane will leave Real Madrid even if he fails to win the Champions League for the 3rd time in a row. Besides Zidane is born in Marseille, there is a zero chance for him to be a PSG coach...

Interesting. This may point to Tuchel as our next coach. Apparently he had already agreed with a club; Marina was impressed by him, and now PSG (who he was linked with) are pretty much ruling him out. Anyway, I think PSG will go for the Monaco coach, Jardim.

Confirmed? I was under the impression that he has a contract agreement with Arsenal.

Would you kindly post the tweet or article in which you read that?

RMC aren't confirming it, this time it's from the redaction and not from a talkshow (like the weird tweet above), they say that PSG are in advanced negotiation with Tuchel.

Tuchel is said to speak French very well, which few high profile coaches do.

Don't know why but Tuchel at PSG would seem a bit odd.
I think Tuchel is a good coach for the top level, but I also think PSG would be wary of appointing "promising" coaches like him or Pochettino at the moment, who haven't won a league or CL. They tried that with Emery thinking he could translate his EL experience into the CL and it hasn't worked.

Think they would have Conte at the top of their list. Forget playing style, if they want a proven winner and a tactically astute coach, he's their best bet.

EDIT: Just saw the RMC news ruling out Conte. Well, let's see.

Conte has not done anything in the CL either.

To me it's the sort of job Luis Enrique would've got/taken.

Interested to see how Tuchel gets on if it is him.

Can't see it TBH, he has invested too much time and came too far with us to just jump ship, no doubt at some stage he will want to at some point but he's only in his mid 40's. Plus he needs some silverware before he takes that step.

If I were him I'd wait untll Neymar has slung his hook. I would not want to be a manager with him there.

I'd agree, he'll of a player but just a dick of the highest order. Poch doesn't tolerate than kind of wankerishness, that's why I dont think he is a great fit for a club with divas.
