What a transfer window this has been already. It has to be the best post SAF and hopefully we're not quite done
I'm quite sure this is how it went.Any excuse to post this again
Tbf, do we *know* that Murtaugh is the one doing the direct negotiating?Tweet

fuking crazy deal if this has merit....34m is a fuking steal and no way Woodward would have had the sack to get this type of deal. Murtaugh is having a cracking first window
About a week.Well how long would it take to inform Varane what the quarantine rules are?
I know Ornstein is very reliable but there's no way that this is true right??Tweet

It’s fair to say the Sancho deal was extremely close but for whatever reason they couldn’t agree on a fee. I don’t remember him ever saying it’s a done deal though.I think people have brushed over a few of Fabs misses during that same time.
He was off the mark quite clearly on Sancho last year as one that comes to mind.
These debates are a bit tiring now but my take is Fab mainly piggy backs off the back of specific journos who are reliable for specific clubs/leagues. It’s quite clear imo.
Take yesterday’s news of the breakthrough in negotiations, he was last to report it and when asked just said ‘wait till tonight for my news on Varane.’ If he had news he would have broken his neck to be the first to break it.
I will be over the moon if that happens.Pogba signing the contract would round off a lovely week indeed
Why are Madrid being so nice to us?
we've promised to rejoin the ESLWhy are Madrid being so nice to us?
They have no moneyWhy are Madrid being so nice to us?
One year left on his contract, so either this or nothing next summer. We'll get him cheap but lose Pogba cheap for a similar fee this summer.Might be Madrid's farewell gift to one of their legend.
Historically the clubs have a very good relationship. Most United fans only look to Fergie's bluster over losing Ronaldo and think we hate them. Why are Madrid being so nice to us?
It really is, but then again he only got one year left on his contract and Real seem to need the cash.I know Ornstein is very reliable but there's no way that this is true right??
35M pounds would be an incredible, and quite absurd, steal for someone like Varane...
What if he gets overrun by Leeds!imagine he turns up to OT against leeds rocking. this hair style
That as well. And you're right about Pogba. If we only get 35m though, might as well keep him for a year and push hard for the title this season. Just consider it as a loan fee.One year left on his contract, so either this or nothing next summer. We'll get him cheap but lose Pogba cheap for a similar fee this summer.
Yeah listen I’ve always acknowledged that things change quickly, but to me Fab gives off a very clear vibe that he’s piggy backing on others for each deal. It’s fair to say the Sancho deal was extremely close but for whatever reason they couldn’t agree on a fee. I don’t remember him ever saying it’s a done deal though.
Nobody is ever 100% correct though obviously things can change quickly in transfers, I don’t think he’s nostradamus just well connected and fed information from certain agents to hype the deals up.
He clearly has a big pull with the younger audience and markets himself very well.
something official from the club must be on its way soonTweet

I'd be surprised if he was on less than Maguire, who I've read is on £250k. Might be wrong though!I've read the wages being reported as £175,000 per week.
Watch somebody in the media try to put a negative spin on this deal compared to the White one when there just isn't any.I wish we’d paid 50% more for Ben White.

£30 million for Rio Ferdinand. It's as if we're back in a bygone era.£35 million for varane. A World Cup, la Liga and champions league winning player
£50 million for Ben white who got twisted around by rashford.
It's a good price but players at the last year of their contract go for much cheaper than their real value. Thiago last season went to Liverpool for 22m and he was coming off winning the CL with Bayern.I know Ornstein is very reliable but there's no way that this is true right??

I will never doubt El Chingirito TV againStoney tweeting this then it's done.
