Last 12 months, I agree. Before that season he was inconsistent with many poor games but had good numbers. Before that he had many good games against all sort of opponents.Right but I was saying that even the poorest of opposition easily neutralized him if they sat back and defended deep. I don’t ever remember him being particularly good against the better sides. His good matches always seemed completely erratic and random. Like him as a footballer.
Maybe it's the regency bias, it's happening for Martial too that players career is judged based on their last season.
